Make sure they drop the headliner and check where the drain tubes are attached to the sunroof cassette are installed properly. My right rear tube was not connected in my original truck which caused another point of water intrusion.

If you are already getting a mildew odor, then you might have mold.... I wouldn't want my interior ripped apart at all on a new truck, let alone twice. You are really stuck between a rock and a hard place. What are your options; have the dealer remove the carpet and have you drive around...

I'd highly recommend checking the back side of the plug to guarantee it is installed properly. However, you do NOT have to remove the rear seats, the seat backs can be folded down, giving you access to the rear liner.

I'm surprised that with the number of complaints we've seen on this board regarding this drain tube issue, Ram hasn't stepped up and issued a TSB to dealers. But I guess the same can be said for a number of growing pains this new gen is experiencing.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Dealership handled the situation very professionally and is ordering a factory build replacement. While I was on the lot, there was another Laramie with the same drain issue.... Check your trucks everyone and if you had water issues, look out for mold!

Long story short, my right rear sunroof drain wasnt installed properly which caused water to leak inside the cab. I found the right rear seat assembly frame has surface rust all over it, the carpet is wet and I have found some patches of MOLD! I have already contacted my sales rep, explained...
