Well I can tell you that the 4th check should be to check the body side weatherstripping of the door in question for water intrusion. That's what my dealer checked and saw water intrusion. They then replaced the body side weatherstripping and no more driver floorboard wet carpet.

The Ram dealer said that they replaced the body side driver door seal. It seems to have solved the problem of water intrusion on to the driver side floorboard carpet. Just to let everyone know.

Thanks for the response and I'm glad your problem was resolved. The dealer said that their body shop was sure that replacing the weatherstripping would solve the problem as they saw the leak was from there. I guess time will tell and I'll let everyone know if that fixed it or not.

You could call Ram Customer Assistance and they may be able to escalate your case with the dealer (1-866-726-4636 USA) but meanwhile could we see a picture of it.

I have Realtree bench seat covers. They have a pull down for center armrest use or they can be used without the armrest feature. They are made of a tough material, available in camo. They are available in either Advance Auto parts or Autozone and cost only about $70. I think they are great.

So were you able to determine if sealing the welds and seams eliminated the leaks ? Have you checked it after a heavy rain?
