I have been pondering the same question and from what I have seen the rail system supports somewhere around 700lbs. Frontrunner makes a rack that hooks into it that looks well suited to a rooftop tent (for a 6’4” bed, but might be worth contacting them to see if they have a 5’7” option)...

I just did this today and it was a T-50 not a T-40. You could probably make a T-40 work but it is a little loose and you could round it out.

Steve at Husky sent me out a new mat and it does not have the bulge. Customer service was excellent, and the fit of the second mat is much better.

After reading this thread I contacted Husky prior to ordering mats and they said they had found and corrected the issue (supposedly caused by how the mats were cooled). So I went ahead and ordered a set and put them in this weekend. I have the same bulging that others have seen. Seeing it in...
