All I did was get some 2x2x1/4 flat stock and ordered 2 new striker pins. Measured from the back of the bed to the center of the striker hole. Then from the back of the tailgate to the center of the striker latch. You can see the brackets that I made in a earlier post.

I have a 2023 ram limited. I have a standard tailgate with remote tailgate release. I changed out the tailgate with a multi function tailgate. Everything works but the in truck tailgate release and the remote tailgate release. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this fixed.

Was just wondering if anybody had solve the issue of the retrofit tailgate. i’m still having trouble with the overhead counsel tailgate release and the remote release on the remote. Just wondered if anybody found a solution for this.
