Nothing that stood out to me, it just looks like it is loose around where the metal clip should have it gripped. This is the driver side front and it faces toward the rear so I can’t imagine anything could have kicked up and hit it from that angle.
I don’t have any current issues with my air suspension though, that was resolved (I assume, I haven’t seen an error or noticed anything acting up again). I have the maxcare mopar warranty, the dealership has already ordered the part, when I brought up the deductible he said it’s a separate...
Around 45 days ago I had my air compressor system replaced at the dealership due to an error. Today I put my truck up on a lift to clean the under carriage and wanted to see if I can pinpoint a clunking noise I hear over bumps at low speeds ever since I picked it up, I noticed the air strut...
I was driving on the highway at roughly 50 mph when this piece went flying off my truck. Never have had damage to the door or the pillar, nor was it aftermarket. I wanted to confirm, is this the proper replacement piece from mopar...
I had reached out to them first prior to making this post and was told the same thing as you said, they dont control the contract terms etc. and to feel free to refund it. I removed their name from the title earlier to not bash them as they obviously haven't done anything wrong and the warranty...
Thanks to the feedback and advice from everyone.
I went back to the dealership and apparently the guy was new and was generating the wrong LOP codes. They are covering my replacement, two arms and a motor for the power side step.
I well edit my post above!
Pretty sure it was supposed to be motor, not sure why I wrote module. And yes the power side steps came with the truck. I'll PM you, I tried calling back the dealer for the LOP # as they didn't give it to me or write it up in a report, now they are giving me a run around, I may have to drive...
Their website (Zeigler and Mopar) state 5K+ parts covered and it's the best plan available, the contract does not list 5k+ parts, it seems misleading to me, it has vagueness to it and states "but not limited to" under each section. Apparently it is limited and leaves out parts, is there a list...
Edit:
I went back to the dealership after advice from a member here and apparently the guy was new and was generating the wrong LOP codes. They are covering my replacement, two arms and a motor for the power side step. Another service rep had to step in and show him he was wording it improperly...
