none that I am aware of... has only happened three times in the 6 months I have owned it now but still makes me nervous about future issues... they did do some ignition software update on my truck two weeks ago but im not sure if thats a fix for it or not... that was supposed to fix issue with...
They replaced both cats on my high output a week ago, so far seems to running great again, no lights or alerts popping up.. they also did some ignition software update improvements afraid to touch anything on this truck now haha.
I feel like it has happened more after a rain or going through car wash but it has happened when not wet as well... so now im not sure haha. I just got the truck back after both of the cats were "bad". CEL came on and put me in limp mode... so im just happy to have the truck back after driving...
there's a good amount of guys running the k&n now with either the JB4 or diablo piggyback without any issues, so I guess well see if others start having cats fail on them or maybe my truck is just a fluke I dont know... I know some owners of RHOs have had their cats melt or fail so maybe...
Well I cant say I tried the card, but I tried both fobs and the app. all three the truck was getting the signals because the exterior lights lit up and the running boards deployed on every but the locks on all of the doors did not physically lock or unlock. only when I used the actual key did it...
Oh okay sorry misread his post quickly. got the truck back last night seems to be driving fine so far, replaced both cats, I asked what would've caused this and they have no idea... this is making me nervous but I guess only time will tell...
I dropped it off this morning to replace both of the cats so hopefully I will be having it back later today and let you know. I have never seen any alerts or warnings pop up on dash, I keep the different gauges up on cluster usually and everything has shown normal... I haven't even towed...
I have 5800 miles on my 2025 limited with high output. they are replacing both of the cats, they didn't say if they were melted or damaged but check engine lights is popping up both codes p0430 and p0420 for each cat. they tried doing some software update for the ignition I believe which didn't...
I have been seeing guys say they have to do it quickly or it won't hold the rpms... so get it up to 3000 I believe is the sweet spot quickly and let go in less than a few seconds or it drops off from what I have seen from others testing with the dragy and their jb4s or cat6 tuners..
I have the K&n on my limited HO, was running it for almost two months no issues.. both of cats are bad or melted. the dealership isn't blaming the intake at all they did a software update on the ignition or something they thought would fix the check engine light for the cats but it did not. now...
Yes it happened again after I got to work two weeks ago. wouldn't lock my doors with fob or app. had to use physical key again for drivers doors. none of the other doors would do anything. cleared on its own like hour later... no idea whats going on. both cats are being replaced now too lol
They'd some ignition software update on it as well but if that was the cause it was too late at this point both of the cats need to be replaced next week... just updating others in case you run into this..
Truck has been brought in 3 times now lol. not the best service department near me.. both cats were to be replaced today after waiting for them to come in but they didn't have the techs available today so I will be bringing it back next week... either way not sure why both cats went bad or...
