I absolutely agree, 100! I have been running iOS betas since the iOS 9 days, and will never go back to gen pop. Consistent upgrades, familiarization with the new OS prior to the new hardware release, and, to be honest, a damn smooth experience, will keep me using the iOS betas forevermore...
Google iOS 14 beta. Sign up for it and install the profile. It will then allow you to move to iOS 14. They update multiple times per month and Apple is very receptive to feedback. My Ram is rocking out with Siri with no issues now. Definitely worth moving to public betas.
I was fiddling around with the settings in UConnect and found something that read "Carplay Screen Mirroring"... I thought to myself "I must need that" and turned it on. Carplay stopped working. After a few failed attempts fiddling with the phone, I went back and turned it off, and everything...
This has happened to me quite a few times over the years. It's almost always fixed by using a quality USB cable. The 3 pack for $10 at the gas station cables tend to fail a lot sooner than later. Here's a way to tell if you have an actual Apple cable: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204566...
