Does anyone know if it's going to make an appearance at the Texas State Fair this week(end)? Would seem appropriate as that's where the concept debuted, but haven't heard anything about any press conferences or anything.
If you're mostly using it as a tow vehicle, and those 90 miles are hiway I might consider a diesel (depending on price difference), especially if you're going to be towing at high altitudes and/or steep grades. You're right at the point where I usually think a diesel could make sense, depending...
Not sure if it's the same in the US, but in Canada you can go to a Cummins dealer and get the same filters for quite a bit cheaper then at a Chrysler dealer.
As the 1500's have a taller box, where the HD's still use the older short sided box, I'm thinking there's not a very good chance of that as they wouldn't be able to use the same tailgate.
Same here. Heard awhile ago that the 2500's were suppose to get the knob, while the 3500's were suppose to get the column shifter. Haven't seen one with the knob so maybe they will both get the column now (n)
I thought the 2500 was suppose to get the rotary shifter and only the 3500 was to get the column. Hope they haven't gone back to the column shifter on both.
The headlight filler looks really out of place on the models with the chrome grill IMO, especially how it wraps around the light. The headlight should have been dropped down or that needs to be painted to match the truck. Other than that they look good so far.
That sucks, ya they definitely have a bunch of storage in the front, I really like that, but I usually need "wet" storage or storage for larger items.
Often thought about getting a truck with ram boxes as they would be perfect, but I don't think I could access the boxes with my deck on the back.
