I was going to order a Warlock but after searching for one, I found what I wanted on a dealers lot. I wanted White, with the black accents, for that Stormtrooper look. Also wanted 3.92 gears and the 33 gallon fuel tank. Well, found one with a 26 gallon tank and 3.92 gears. With rebates, it...
Great numbers and great to see SAE corrections versus STD, which many shops use as it corrects to higher numbers. How does it drive? I haven't run an aftermarket supercharger on a car since 2003 and it took some tuning to get it to run. That was an older Mustang with a Vortech S-trim, so a...
I originally didn't plan too but I found a brand new one for $45K after discounts. It has 3.92 gears which are perfect with the Hurricane motor IMO. I've driven two others, both had the 3.55's but I prefer the 3.92. I wanted the 33 gallon fuel tank, but settled for the 26 gallon. The Warlock...
That sucks, sorry to hear about your issues. My story has been the exact opposite, in two years and nine months of ownership, I haven't had a single issue with my 2023 Ram 1500 5.7 with e-torque, 4X4, Lone Star edition. I'm knocking on wood as I type this lol Granted, I am retired, don't go...
I think I responded in the other thread as well, but again, my two cents. I test drove another Ram Hurricane, a 2025 Warlock with 2500 miles. It was a demo and the price is $41k, so I was curious. My Ram isn't quite three years old yet, low miles with only 25,4XX at the moment. I love the...
I installed the S&B CAI on my 2023 Ram 5.7, solid for what it is. Not so long ago, I had a question for them and decided to ask if it would work on a 2026 5.7 and they said yes.
Being I currently own a 2023 Ram Hemi 5.7, I thought that my next Ram would probably have the Hurricane. But I'm starting to think that may be a 6.4 Hemi in a HD, made to last, would be a better choice. Could also be my current truck, my almost three years old 5.7 is running like smooth...
Take it for what it is worth, I've only owned one Ram, my 2023 Ram 5.7 with e-torque, 4X4, Lone Star edition. It has been the model of reliability and other than the small 23 gallon fuel tank, which is my biggest pet peeve, I have no complaints. I think the odds of you getting a reliable Ram...
The 2.7 Ecoboost is rated 100hp less than the Hurricane, so it isn't going to be close. I put a 5-Star 93 octane custom tune in my 2022 F-150 2.7 and it made 370rwhp and 440rwtq SAE. That tuned motor was a beast! Now it was the equal of Hurricane, maybe slightly quicker due to its lighter...
I have a 2023 with the S&B CAI, got it for the looks. If the engine is unchanged from 2024 and previous, I don't see why it wouldn't fit. You won't see any significant gains as the stock air box isn't restrictive.
I drive a 2023 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi, e-torque, great motor, zero issues. But if I were in the market today for a Ram 1500, I'd go Hurricane. It doesn't seem to have the issues that the the 3.4l Tundra had and has. Test driver one, it is a beast of motor. If you want a 6.4 Hemi, you...
I hope it all works out. I'm of the opinion that if you pay these ridiculous prices, then that vehicle should have zero issues for years. My 2023 Ram 1500 5.7 with e-torque, has been flawless from day one. Not a single issue and that's how it should be. That should be the norm. My truck...
