Installing Factory Trailer Brake Controller and DIY Software Update

@Brotheron, you sir are a gentleman and a scholar  I studied your post in detail, found places in the US that had them and would ship them to the middle east (you would be surprised how many don't) Fitted everything without breaking even one plastic dash with my p3nis fingers and zipped...

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

No, Saluki. They have plenty of offroad racing experience with trucks and buggies and I trust their work. (Having seen it in action) The guys are good to work with and understood what I wanted. And yey! another Dubai member!

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

In an ideal world, thats what I would have liked but even if you could fabricate support behind it, any small impact would fold the thin tin round the supports leaving it looking like a rippled ugly mess. I also gained about 2" of clearance at the front. I managed to bend the 8mm alloy skid...

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

I like the idea of black and did ponder it but sadly it wouldn't stay that way for long (the front part might to be fair) its gonna get scratched and bent soon enough. I was also thinking about waterjetting my race teams logo to the underside but again it would just get damaged and look like...

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

Aaaaaaaand we're done  Proper solid skid plate which doesn't look too wild but will take a serious knock. The guys decided to replace the factory crossmember skid plate too with the left over alloy so the entire front underside will be protected. I flashed the tow points in red to see...

My very important opinion, also, get a pedal commander

+1 on the pedal commander, I ordered mine after my 3rd day of rebel ownership. Coming from a 2012 Raptor I honestly thought there was a problem so drove my mate's Gen4 as a comparison....just as lethargic! you don't realise how bad it is until the fix is in place.

    Wrong flowmaster delivered

In Dubai. I'll see if I can sell it but trying to find the right buyer could be troublesome. The spares/parts market out here is just weird. Failing that....I have a tig welder

    Wrong flowmaster delivered

Does anyone know the differences between the RAM Classic flowmaster CAT Back system (717860) and the 5th gen version (717889)? Guess who had the wrong version delivered  Sending it back isn't an option as I'm in the other side of the world, just curious to know how much modifications...

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

They come with a different colour lower bumper which 'looks' like a skid plate made from 1.5mm steel and less support and structure than a baked beans tin. Realistically it wouldn't be able to skid over anything other than a very soft snow drift without major bumper damage. The sand dunes out...

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

All the steelwork is away for powder coat but I snapped a shot of the alloy parts. 6mm for the front and 8mm for the actual skid plate. Should all be fitted on Sunday (y)

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

I was in to see an update today as they needed some advice on mounting brackets. The tow hooks are in but I forgot to take pics  they are made from 18mm steel plate so are at the same level as the bottom of the chassis leg where the originals bolt too. The are not breaking anytime soon...
