here it is 2024 and the same problem exists. I never even thought about it because I have had covers on every truck I have had an NONE leaked AT ALL. This thing is a joke. Mine is manual and it leaks profusely down both sides. I have a multi function tailgate as well. There is a huge gap... -

Auto for entry/exit mode on air suspension?
As soon as I lower my suspension via the FOB or the inside button, it lowers and immediately raises. It won't stay down for 5 seconds. I only use it to climb in the bed. Not a big issue but it should stay down until I say so. The instructions on RAM are very lacking. I usually go to Youtube...- Bobmugge
