yea its not even acting like its starting. Its crazy cause the carlnkit worked perfectly on 8.4 uc4. I think I am going to get a friends iphone and connect it via wired just to see the carplay option in my apps menu and maybe that will help but I am grasping at straws and tired of unboxing and...

because these aiboxes connect to the truck as carplay and then i can connect my android to it and get full screen android auto.

I just retrofitted a 12" UC5 into my 19 rebel and my carlinkit aibox that used to work on the 8" uc4 doesn't work on my 12" uc5. I also tried a binize aibox and mmb max and they all will say connected in device manager but will not start carplay or show their start screens. My phone can see them...

I use a flat usb cable and route it behind the radio down to the storage area and plug it into a 65w multi port wall plug and that's plugged into the 110v outlet
