I had your Key issue happen to me once about 2 or 3 minutes after start up. Max volume of just static. I had to stop the truck and turn it off. You’re not kidding about scaring you! It traumatized my poor little dog for a long time.

I’m dealing with the same thing on my HO Took it to service they took it for a test drive and said everything sounds normal. The rattle drives me crazy.
