I change mine every 5K on full synthetic. Everything I have been reading and seeing from quality mechanics out in the field are saying the manufacturer intervals are getting to long for those wanted to keep their vehicles pas the warranty period and causing unscary engine problems.
you would think, but I've found a lot of the dealers are so backed up with work and lack of tech's that they are referring people to go to other dealers if they need an issue addressed quickly. At least that is the way it was when I needed to get some things addressed on my 2019. Luckily on...
You have to replace the harness from behind the bumper up and add resisters. Retro Shop has the harness and resistors available.

Another issue if you get the truck home and then realize their is an issue with the truck, paint defect, something out of wack. Sure you could take it to a local dealer but may not be as willing to take care of the issue.

I would say the black color is pretty dead on, the biggest difference is the boarders. All of the RAM badges on the truck have a beveled edge while the Laramie badge has it's own nickle like boarder and the 4x4 has no bevel so with the overlay on it you don't get that same chrome outlined...
yes I actually have those on order. The Laramie Badge kind of already had the flat black with chrome outline so the 4x4 did look a bit out of place still all chrome.
Yea, luckily I knew about the issue when I had my 2019 and was pretty religious to check for leaks and cracks so when mine finally did start leaking, I caught it before any other damage was done. I had a glass shop replace it with a new OEM window and it was good for the two years after it...
You can use 4wd where there isn't much tight turning, but it will create some added wear to the system over time. I don't use 4wd high on dry or even wet roads, I Have good tires and have never had a need to use 4wd on wet pavement.
