We must have a similar driving style because I have this complaint as well. And the super hard regen breaking grab at 20 mph makes me feel like I need driving school. I just hit 900 miles on my 2022 and I noticed I’m now having the issue with the stop/start not kicking when it should and no...
I certainly will! Switching to this from my 2019 1500 feels so different! My 2019 was totaled and it was sad to see her go, but the upgrade is nice to say the least :)
Thank you so much! There’s so much new technology in this bad boy it’s hard to understand how all of the electrical works. I ended up lucking out and getting the Firefighter Built to Serve edition in the diamond crystal black and love it, so I am paranoid I’ll encounter the issues I’ve seen so...
Sorry to rehash an old thread. I just purchased a 2022 1500 w etorque and my batter seems to sit at 12.8 v while driving. At idle it sits at about 13.5. That seems really low based on these standards? Has anything changed for the 2022 model?
Is that what feels a bit jerky when breaking at low speeds? I noticed that but figured it was something related to the way the etorque works. I’m not a car person by any means, I just work for an engine manufacturer and know basic stuff. And love my Ram lol
I’m happy to hear that! I was reluctant to even test drive one because I loved my Classic and read some awful anecdotes about the stalls at high speeds but TBH I can hardly notice the start/stop and it rides so nice. I checked to see if it has any recalls listed and there’s nothing so here’s to...
I just purchased a 2022 Built to Serve BigHorn with the etorque, I’m really hoping it already has this update 😭 I drove it quite a bit since I purchased this afternoon and nothing strange so fingers crossed..time will only tell. Lol I was a little hesitant to purchase the etorque, but so far I...
Hi everyone,
is there an easy way to fix the broken door handle on my 2019 1500 classic? Had a nice mishap with my garage this morning after pulling the truck in a little too snuggly the night before and rushing my way out..I will definitely need touch up paint for some of the body, but is...
I never posted my update here so I will now! I ended up having three separate leaks in total: the rear main was replaced first, two weeks later the drain plug and the oil pan seal. Now that all three have been fixed, not a single drop after being paranoid and checking every day for weeks after...
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. My case manager gave me a call this afternoon and told me he was going to speak to the dealership before I bring the truck in. You guys really are fantastic :)
Thank you Mark! I actually called Ram Cares today and opened a case :) The dealership I purchased the truck from offered to take it in again Wednesday and diagnose it a second time. Everday it seems to leak less and less, so maybe it was residual from the leak before that has been caught...
Hi everyone,
I’m new here and have been creeping on these threads for the last week or so. I just bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic SLT 5.7 and I’ve already had to have the rear main replaced for an oil leak. The truck was preowned and had 15,000 miles on it before we purchased it but they carfax...
