No luck so far, tried to disconnecting/reconnecting the battery and leaving it overnight for a couple of days. I am not sure if I am doing this right: Reset the BCM thru reset Ecu on the AlfaOBD command, then I reset the radio thru the radio settings on the screen but I cant find CVPM reset...
I tried disconnecting the battery couple of times and leaving it overnight, but no avail. The side mirrors still looking in. If, I reset the ecu (BCM, Radio and CVPM), will it reset to factory setting?
And the saga continues, working thru the calibration. The right and left one wont calibrate, are they suppose to look so close and inward? It feels like they have the tow mirror view instead of the non-tow one.
You were right!! The pins are mixed up. I did a continuity test and It was 8 to 2 and 9 to 1, you can see it in the video ( IMG_7108.MOV ). I didn't notice this until after the test but in the attached picture you can see the pink wire going from Can IHS 1 to CVPM pin 9 and Can IHS 2 to CVPM pin...
Yes, it is. I numbered them in the picture to match . The CVPM I got is 56029964AF for 22 ram BH. I did buy it from a seller on ebay (as new), maybe I should just go with Mopar store better.
@Abhi.K After testing the harness here's findings so far:
For slot 8 and 9 (CAN IHS + and CAN IHS - ) pins, they both responded to the continuity test when tested on the can bus plug (even switched the neutral and hot in each scenario and still worked)
For slot 4, it responded to the fuse tap...
I checked everything, all the wires fitted in and pushed in but the problem still there.
I did the BSM mod 2 years ago, so I unplug those 2 from the can bus since I was seeing the blind spot error message in the cluster. But that didn't solve anything, the problem still persist.
At this point...
@Abhi.K So I was able to rule out the power issue, the CVPM is getting 12V. However, the minute I put in the 2nd fuse, the truck goes haywire. Getting "Blind Spot Alert unavailable", "115V cargo outlet not working error" and the 12" screen keeps restarting and flickering on and off. I still...
I am trying to cross and diagnose issues as I go. However, here's what I have so far from the pictures. I measured the CVPM power at 2.3-2.6 V DC (at the Can IHS+ to ground). I thought it was suppose to be 12V, please correct me if I am wrong. If that's the case, it would be a harness issue...
I am running into the same issue as @zjmuss. I can not connect to my CVPM and not sure how to determine if it's working or not. After the AlfaOBD changes, I only see the surround view button on the radio screen but it doesn't work, can't tap it. I am using a bypass and MX+, CVPM 56029964AF, and...
How did you guys handle the front camera mount? My front grill emblem does not come out. I had to improvise as I didn't want to buy a new one and while the truck was disassembled. I cut the A housing and fit it in as much as I can.
I dont see it on this thread, but did anyone try these cameras (from ebay: RAM Voyager Pacifica 2017-2024 Surround View Park Assist Camera 68144068AD)? Do they work since they are cheaper...
Hi all,
I am looking for some feedback before I do the install. I bought 2 OEM tail lights with radar module in them, 2 jumpers and the xy400 harness from jimmy07.
I believe that's everything needed. When it comes to the jumpers do I still need to de-pin #8 on the drive side or that's not...
