I’ve never noticed it at lower speeds. But since I installed my lift and 35’s I’ve had traction control kick on when turning corners if I’m even remotely on the gas. Even happened on a highway on ramp a few times when I was just maintaining speed through the corner. Never any tire noise or...
Also I should say that I’m lifted with the ready lift 3.5” kit. But my wheels/tires did actually clear at factory height. Drove it with them for 2-3 days before I could get the lift on. No rubbing or anything then either. Much to my amazement.
I’ll tell ya in my experience of towing with 35x12.50r20 E range MT tires I had them set at 44psi for around 8-10 thousand miles (50% loaded, 50% not) and was seeing more wear in the centers than the outside of all 4 tires. And it rode pretty bad. Dropped them all to 36 psi like the door sticker...
Looks good, I’ve been considering removing my lift kit and instead getting the inez 4/6 drop. Just been trying to decide what wheel specs I’d need to go with if I do lower it. And also trying to figure out how I’ll adapt my air lift 5000 helper bags with the significant drop.
I've actually already installed a Prodigy P3, but wouldn't mind the nicer cleaner install of the factory unit still. So I'm curious, does anyone know if the factory unit is progressive or time based controlled? The prodigy is fantastic, so I'll gladly keep it for being progressive rate. But if...
I towed this thing around 600 miles a couple weeks ago, around 6k dry weight, truck did well. Didn't love towing over 65mph because it wanted to stay in 6th gear most of the time, I could've towed at 70, but I didn't want to get the 7mpg the display was claiming. So pulling it around 60 most of...
My 2017 was doing that too, only it seemed to be isolated to only being around holes in the bumper, like the parking sensors for instance. I however traded that in before they got very bad so I never looked into solutions.
They absolutely should be there. My truck came with a trailer hitch, but no sort of "tow package" and it had 2 plugs under the dash for the brake controller. I actually ended up getting a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 because I got in a time crunch and couldn't wait for the dealer. It's a nice progressive...
I’ve been waiting for the s&b to show as in stock. Definitely like the AFe, but the sealed box of the s&b caught my attention, especially with the slightly lower price. But I’m also curious if there’s really anything in the difference between the two to justify one over the other.
Nope, actually they didn't even rub at stock height, as surprising as that was to me lol.
Negative, never had tow hooks. Considered putting them on, but just not sure I'd use them since i'm afraid anything I'd hook to it might chip the paint on the bumper if it went slack.
It's not perfectly centered on the front, but you can kinda get the idea. They poke out just a little, but not too much. In my opinion its like the perfect amount, looks aggressive, but it's not gonna sling every single rock i run over into my paint. lol
I only have about 1000 miles with the lift on, but I've had no problems either. Honestly while installing everything it all went together pretty easily, so it doesn't feel much like anything is at an extreme of travel.
