After two phone calls to Ram support and a trip to the dealer I have found out my maps have to be updated at the dealer. Luckily the maps will be updated under warranty. 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie.

There is a setting where it can be turned on or off but I dont know where it is

How do I turn on the over the air updates function.

I have an IPhone. Try turning rebooting the radio and turn off Apple Car Play on your phone then turn it back on.

I have had the same issue. RAM UConnect posted a procedure to try and fix this issue. I ran the UConnect procedure, and it fixed the issue. It is definitely a software issue. The UConnect procedure is on the forum.

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Larame 12" screen. I recently started to get the message "satellite hardware error" I reboot the radio and then it works but after the truck is shutoff like over night the message comes back. Any ideas? This is getting irritating.

This is really weird. I replaced the 30 AMP fuse and the passenger step started working again. Makes no sense but I am glad its working again.
