Thank you. Yes, it will become available. I used Hooker Headers original cutout kit for the prototype, but I’m making a complete kit. Should be a few weeks until the complete prototype is completed. I’m going to show the process on my mill with the end control PCB on my YouTube channel. It...
Sounds good. I'll keep everyone posted on the forum. Anyone that wants to be notified about the controller release, please go to the contact page on my website so I have your contact info when they become available. Thanks for all of the great input everyone...
I am using an Arduino, but the PCB attached to it is one that I manufacturer for use on other stuff. I did start with the CANShield before I made my own PCBs.
I am. The valve connections all seem to be pretty similar between manufacturers. I have a little more work on the output PCB, but should have something that is universal within the next few months. After that it would just need to be coded for the various models, but the 5th Gen Rams will all...
Pretty sure that wouldn't be any issue to configure. Just need the car for the first one. Welcome to have anyone contact me if they're local. I'm a little north of Atlanta and have a shop called Atlanta Speedometer. (770)831-8802
I've added steering wheel control functionality to my cutout controller. One button disables the cutout valve and another keeps it open all the time. Once it returns to a normal state it goes back to working off of full throttle. Enjoy
I've refined the controller for my exhaust cutout. I've introduced using steering wheel controls for disabling cutout valve and for keeping it open all the time. When it returns to normal state, it will go back to working off of full throttle. Enjoy
I've added some new features and would like to hear some opinions. After looking into the buttons that all models have, I found some data on buttons I think would work for ultimate control.
1. Full throttle opens exhaust cutout and holds until wide open is let off. If momentary full is seen...
The first byte I used wasn’t really WOT when in motion. It would come on about 60% and it was kinda irritating to have it on at that level. Sound was fine but seemed unnecessarily early. I went back and found a better byte to make it truly WOT.
Was thinking of using something like the head...
Thanks. I had to tap into the CAN lines somewhere after the gateway. Data doesn’t show at the OBD Port unless a command is given. If I tap in after the gateway the baud rate is the same but all of the data is running full time. Yes would like to have an outlet to start producing these for...
