I just added the OEM power running board !!!
From my research and reading (meaning no real experience) the OEMs do not go to the OBD port. They integrate more directly into the systems for UConnect access and control. That’s why I’m looking at the OEM instead of after market like AMP Research. -

Power Running Boards can OEM be add?
Just bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie with 12” nav and was looking at getting the power running boards installed. Apparently Mopar isn’t officially offering a kit for the 2020. Anyone have experience installing the 2019 part number on the 2020? Is there really a difference or will it work?
