Purchased it from Addictive Desert Designs,
I also ordered it with the backup light option, they real do a great job lighting up everything when backing up.
Had it color matched to truck two tone lower color.
Not bad to install as their instruction were good.
I’ve had trucks and suvs with auto 4 wheel drive for over 20 years
And never HAD a problem with any. I put it in 4 wheel auto when the first snow arrives and take it out when it leaves
You might see a half gallon of less mileage
I had the same thing happening, after a little research at the UConnect web site it’s a feature that keeps you USB ports powered on for a hour after you shut you truck off so if you cell phone is plug in it will keep charging. Mine always shut off after about an hour so I do not think is any...
Great install, just one problem
I just hope you do not get it trouble with the law as most states do not let you drive on major roads with your off road lights on,
I would recommend you install a switch to turn them on and off, not having them tied into you bright lights
Not any way I could find, I’ll just live with it, as i was worried about it staying on all the time and running the battery down. But that's not the case now.
I finally figured it out it’s UConnect fast charge for charging your phone. It keeps power on to your USB ports for 1 hour after shutting your truck off or opening a door after your truck is shut off. When there is power to your USB ports the outline USB lights come on also. To bad nobody knew...
Mine Stay on, because I looked into truck window without opening door 2 Hours later and there still on.
The only way is starting up truck let run for half minute or so shut if off then they shut off for about 5 minutes then come back on.
My usb lights stay on sometimes after shutting truck off .
If I start it then shut if off again most of the time they will go off a stay off.
If I open a door they will come back on and some time shut off after closing it.
Anybody else have this problem?
