I have also had this issue since purchasing my Laramie. I took it to the dealer and they were not able to replicate the concern. Reading that this issue still has not been corrected is really frustrating. Has anyone been able to find a fix?
Post recall fix 1 month I adjusted the pedals and I heard a thump. I looked down and saw what appears to be a clamp? It looks like my fix wasnt very effective... I think I found where the clamp slid off? If anyone knows where this thing goes for sure let me know please.
I used a very thin knife to pry them up. I started at the corner of each letter and worked my way around. With the "A" I had to use a small chunk of bark as a spacer to help keep the top portion pulled out while I worked on pulling out the bottom. Just remember to take it slow.
Finally got around to installing my black ram emblem. It took me a couple weeks to work up the nerve to take the old ones off because I was scared of breaking them. After the first one came off it was super simple to get the other two done.
Does the front RAM letters come off in a similar way? I was trying to pry it off but I am worried that something will snap off, its attached really tight, any suggestions are appreciated!
Taking mine in tomorrow for recall, folding mirror clunk and brake groan issue. I will also ask that they take a look at my seat. I am having issues near the front, worried that if it looks like this after 3000 miles that it wont last for the long haul...the honeymoon period is ending with my...
I am jealous, I just hit 3000 miles and struggle to get anything above 15 mpg on the highway. I just don't understand why a "break in period" is even required. I have never had a vehicle that takes a couple thousand miles to start showing manufacturer listed gas mileage.
