Didn't some packages get updated and some options become unavailable on certain trim levels? Perhaps the hugely backlogged orders contain some combination that became verboten and, for some reason, that puts them in a loop. Haven't looked into it, just musing.
The stickers are really easy to remove, if they are the individual letters on the rear window. We left ours on for the drive home and pulled it once we got here. Hope you enjoy your new truck.
We removed the Ram winter shoes last week but the SUV will wear them a little longer just in case. It isn't unheard of to get 12-18" of snow in one go in April. It's either 80 degrees or 8 inches of snow, can go either way.
Yup, truck gets parked in the boonies due to length - choice spots are backing into edge spots and hanging over curbing/landscaping). The wider turn radius on the Crew/6'4" can also be a bit of an issue in tight parking lots. It definitely forces me to consider which vehicle to grab sometimes...
Part of there reason they do it may be taxes. In my case I financed everything including tax at 0%. Thus, they needed to get the taxes paid to my state DMV. On my end, the process was seamless. I signed for the truck, they provided a temp tag, and a few weeks later my new tags and registration...
Agreed on MD pricing being before rebates and incentives. Since the buyer can opt for different incentives (low interest rates vs certain rebates for example), and since incentives can change, they can't project those until you lock in your order.
I wanted to comment on the quoted comment as...
Buying from Mark Dodge was easily the least stressful buying experience I've had. All negotiations were done up front, price and incentives were locked in at the time of the order, and financing was solid prior to my ever stepping foot on the plane to fly down. There was no hard-ball, no last...
We have the basic white night edition, and it's gorgeous. The trim level required to go to the ivory wasn't in the budget, but we've been very pleased with the looks of the truck. There are a couple others that are similar in our area and they don't look anything like basic white tradesman trucks.
I've been running Nokian Hakka's for about 20 years now and have always been pleased with them. In my area they can be a bit troublesome to find (this year in particular) but I've never regretted my purchase. This year I picked up a set of Blizzak's for one vehicle and the other got Hakka's, it...
Exactly so. I prefer to optimize performance in wet/dry with my "all-season" choice and run dedicated snows the ~4 months they are warranted in my area. In the end I might spend a little extra on tires, but the better stopping distance and traction throughout every season makes that entirely...
