I have had no issues with unexpected acceleration. I have thrown a code ... it’s usually my fault. If you don’t come to complete stop, put it in park, and take your foot off the brake before you change the mode occasionally the CEL comes on. It has always cleared itself after a few hours.

Ah. Okay, now I’m tracking. Hope they find a fix ... my OPT7 works but I’ve smashed it a few times closing the tailgate and was thinking about changing it out with the blade. But I have halogen tails so it may not even be an issue.

What if you just tapped into the “brake” wire for the trailer wiring behind the bumper and left everything else “as-is”? So your turn signals, hazards, markers, and reverse would be connected to the wiring harness for the taillights and just the brake to the trailer wiring?

Ah! ... okay got it. I checked mine to see if there was a delay and I don’t notice it. Do you have LED tail lights or standard? I have standard.

I don’t have the PUTCO blade (I have an OPT7) but is there any reason why you couldn’t used the Curt Adaptor that splits the trailer wiring harness behind the bumper to grab your signals?

If I recall mine came with a 4 pin connector and I used a Curt “vehicle-side” harness to connect into the trucks harness behind the bumper. You should be able to do it by clipping the turn signal wire at the 4 pin. Maybe. My methods usually lack technical accuracy ... more of a trial and error...
Installed my new PC last night along with an S&B CAI ... Sport + mode is awesome.... my sons had smiles from ear to ear when the truck pushed them back into the seat on launch. Outlaw is going on the truck this morning.

It may be coincidence but when I replaced the stock wheels and tires off my Bighorn with some Black Rhino wheels the squeaking disappeared forever. About 10k miles since the switch and still no more squeaking.
