Yeah sorry, I did say that in my previous post, and thought you were replying to my last comment on this thread, but now realise you weren't - my mistake. Removed my last comment now.
I've also heard of someone here just swapping the MFT, mounts, and striker's (going from RamBox to Rambox)...
Just created this thread of my bed swap, may have some helpful info for some.

It has taken some time to complete this but thought I'd post some details about how I went about this.
I haven't gone into detail for many of the steps as they are relatively simple and plenty of how-to content out there.
Many lessons learnt and some wasted $ but if I were to do it again...
I have finally completed it, but I did a full bed swap - last steps were making a wiring harness to tap into the chassis wiring for the rambox unlock and lighting.
What did you use to fill it? I got a nice surprise with the exhaust but managed to do it pretty easily, as in there was enough time to jump in and out and refill. I used a small hand pump to get the fluid in though.
In case anyone is following, I've done the bed swap now. All that's left is to fit an additional harness I made to get the ram boxes to open via central locking (not just a key).
In short, it is all plug and play besides the ram boxes for me - the main chassis harness doesn't have the wires for...
How did you go with this? Interested what you put together.
I've only just made the harness, some photos attached. Will apply the heat shrink before connecting and will add some protective tubing. Gonna wrap the whole lot with chassis/body tape to protect as well.
These connectors etc. look to...
In his post, he linked the connectors here - they are female: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity/638551-2?qs=/ha2pyFadui2KO4i8tuEMRmwe3qqDO4dcOxrTo7CGec4q0rAKYyNkA==&tetid=MuZSUWoENz
I did this on my 2021 1500 Laramie, works great.
This is a summary of what I'm doing to connect the Ram boxes to the central locking and power the lighting inside.
You can buy the replacement chassis wiring but it is way more cost effective DIY.
I believe there will be 6 new wires, with the lighting wire joined when returning to the front of...
I replaced 2 harnesses to suit the ram boxes, but the main one heading back to the BCM didn't have the wires. I have got all the pieces for it but yet to make it.
I am just running a separate set of wires that will follow the main chassis one, and I have the pin connectors (male and female) so...
I also installed the additional 1 quart pan. My truck is levelled, and I used 4 jack stands to get the wheels off the ground. I had no issues when I started the filling procedures, then a minute or so after I had completed them, it would not shift into park, gave the error message in the cluster...
