I have same issue but idk what role you unlock sgw as. I get “role 8 independent contractor” shown in cda 6 when i unlock WL sgw. It does lock on me but if i fight it 2-3 time its stays unlocked using xtool scanner i have and cda6 and alfa are plugged in as well. Unless somehow your witech is...
If the flash doesn’t work try looking into what the replace procedure is for the failed modules in tech authority. I have a feeling the proxi data might be hard coded into these module making them married to the vin factory configs. I hope thats not the case since replacing modules for every...
I use these tools and im able to unlock sgw and have alfa and cda6 connected simultaneously while sgw remains unlocked. I was even able to do write successfully in cda6 while having everything connected.

The issue is not with making changes. The issue happens when we need to do proxi alignment in the end. Maybe you can make changes with Alfa and do proxi alignment with official witech software but those of us that have tried with alfa haven’t been successful at getting all the modules proxi...
No it just does a hard reboot. Basically same as disconnecting power and doing a reboot. Idk if you need new cvpm replacement but someone had same issue and had tow mirror on in bcm but after they turned it off and drove around for a bit it sorted itself out. You just want to give it some time...
Yup that is the tow setting you have the stripe lines all around truck. Normal mirror has it only in front and back bumper zones.
Make sure tow mirror setting in BCM is set to no and then do “reset ecu” on BCM, Radio and CVPM or disconnect battery and reconnect after 15mins and let it sit...
Lol i had a hunch i have had can bus mess up with such stuff before. You can repin it using a cable if you are careful enough or you can cut, swap and heat shrink wires
Can you check if pin 8 and 9 are switched?
Cvpm 8 —> 1 CAN IHS
Cvpm 9 —> 2 CAN IHS
Just to test disconnect all the fakra connections too and see if it still acts up. If it doesn’t then maybe its a bad cable causing cvpm to act up.
If all this checks out then its the cvpm itself
Yes bad module will cause CAN bus to go haywire. Even if i tried to install a module that had different pin outs or can bus architecture it will act up like this. One last thing i would suggest before changing the cvpm is check the pinout on connector matches up to what i posted earlier. If all...
I have seen this before and its when can bus is shorted with other wires. It can either be in harness because the pins are way too close and have tight tolerances in connectors or the cvpm might have internal issues.
To start unplug the harness from everywhere and do a continuity test using...
Either the fuse tap isn’t pushed in all the way or Can bus is shorting out make sure none of the wires are bridged at connectors. Also make sure pins are in right positions in connectors.
