lmftmf i remember you changing tire size on 25 DT. Can you help on the what is required here? Did you end up using witech or was alfa enough for the tire size change?
Thats odd but seems like the failing modules you listed need ignition to be in RUN mode for those to work. Did the ignition time out and shut off during proxi alignment. I would expect cardaq to work since its witech verified official device.
The errors you have and flashing odometer is...
Correct. Alfa needs the xtool with splitter to unlock SGW. Witech can do its own unlock with subscriptions and doesn’t need anything else connected. If it even senses anything in parallel it locks itself out.
I haven’t tried witech recently but back in November when i did it with rlink on WL...
What are you using the splitter for? Witech doesn’t like other devices connected in parallel and locks sgw out and does kinda like a lockout mode which would explain the behavior you are seeing with it.
Usually it takes around a minute to do anything unless you are running a procedure that takes a couple of minutes but even then you will see a moving status that changes over time. But those response times you have are way too high. The only difference is i use the rlink j2534 and not the x7. So...
Thanks i was looking at the flash availability doc and they have like 7 different versions for 22-24 trucks and these two were the closest i could find to mine except the gear numbers.
Idk what the PS and PS 6 mean. Im assuming it’s Paddle Shifters but not sure on what the 6 means.
I don’t think we can use the flash file directly either. At least in my case i have 3.21 gears since i have a 19 Laramie and all the TRX and Rebel GT have different gear ratios. I don’t think we can modify or tune the TCM? Jimmy07 is there a gearing restriction or something that im missing?
Im interested in trying the flash but want to know if anything will break since i have 19 thats never had any changes in PCM or TCM done. I don’t have paddle shifters but would like to do TCM flash just for drive modes without swapping the wheel for paddle shifters(atleast not yet lol). Is that...
I haven’t tried it lately since i don’t own Atlantis vehicles but when i did try it worked. Theres two versions of Rlink. The one i linked in that post is what worked for me at the time. I think jimmy is using x7 which is a different model. I would suggest to reach out to Topdon to confirm if my...
I fully agree with you on that. But unfortunately a lot of manufacturers are getting away with this.
Alfa and jscan are based on cda6 and i have tried that as well with some processes and its not successful at all processes. Plus from what i have heard cda6 was stopped in 23 in favor of witech...
Yes the Rlink is fd and it does show alfa drivers listed in its driver portals. I don’t have windows version of alfa so haven’t tried it. Maybe someone can let us know from here
As far as key programming goes everyone is locked out lol before we could read pin and use that to do it but now Chrysler had made it strictly for locksmith and dealer only to do read pin. Now that doesn’t mean you can’t program key with Witech but you will need the pin from dealer or someone...
I would stick with topdon because idk how compatible or picky witech will be. This was listed specifically as support and definitely better than expensive official micropod.
https://a.co/d/eCxZBgQ occasionally you can find it for 175-200$ on amazon and ebay sales.
I do feel your pain about...
For alfa you can’t use witech as it keeps locking the sgw as soon as you connect it so thats why i needed to use xtool along with alfa and then do everything in witech and topdon. I did see topdon had option for alfa so if you have windows app you might be able to use topdon for both alfa and...
