im running spacers 1.5 frt and 2.0 rear, no rubbing at any level. Without spacers, slight rubbing at full lock (just plastic liner- trimming or heating liner would fix) when in entry-exit. the ride is good, feels more planted in my opinion.
No regrets. I love the look of them. They are louder than stock for sure, but I don't mind much. There is likely a slight mileage drop, but really don't drive a lot nor have I really tracked the mileage too much. I imagine the sprint booster and loving the sound of the exhaust has more to do...
I personally like the idea of the all gloss black, and then get some black lugs. (maybe I'm biased because that's what I did :) ).
A couple of other "food for thought" items.
If you go all black you can always use removable vinyl in sections (blue or whatever) to give the desired accent

It's likely going to be between $110 -$150 per wheel to Powder coat. If they want much over $150 per wheel I would shop around. That being said I'm in Ohio so depending on where you live prices may be different. I personally think gloss black wheels on your truck will look really good.
Yea I was new to it also and that is the reason mine didn't turn out great. Depending on how particular you are, you could try putting a seam or 2 in that area. From a few feet away you will likely not be able to notice. There are definitely a lot more curvatures in the 5th gen grilles...
I do not know if the pop-off (i don't have that same grille) but I did something similar on my 4thgen ram, but used vinyl. I just bought some flat black vinyl from Autozone, and completed it in under an hour, with no real prep needed. It didn't look perfect but you could only see it if you...

No check here... A couple of things I find interesting about this thread though.
I realize this has been a small sampling of posters but seems like about 60%-70% of the posters are not getting a check - shows how expensive these trucks are :)
It's interesting that some people...
Seeing some really nice looking GCM rams on here. Nice job everyone! figured I would throw some updated pics on here of mine now that I have finished the transformation - for now anyway
I have 1.5 frt and 2.0 rear, Mine stick out a decent amount. There are plenty of pics of mine on this forum for reference. My vote would be 1.25 frt/rear. That would get you a little past flush but would look really good IMO.
I finally got out and gave it a quick wash. I installed the painted/wrapped hood emblems earlier this week. I think they turned out really good. For now, my mod phase is complete. We will see how long it lasts before I want to do more things. I think this is officially an addiction.
