Yes it is the same inside dimensions. I did mount it the other night and make sure it is pulled back to almost touching the gate when closed. The front mount holes of the slider almost do not contact a flat surface and there is some bracing that I BARLEY missed when drilling the 1/2 inch holes.

No Ram box, I have the regular 5.7 box because I installed a LEER topper.

The slide I mentioned comes out 100% of the bed. Most slides only come out 70 %, I think the photo shows it fully extended. These things are awesome, would not have a pick-up without one. The XL after the model number gives it the full extension. Be careful when ordering that you get the same model number or it will have a taller deck height. 4.5 is what I think this one is.
