'25 Laramie SO SST - Simultaeous symptoms arising today - all of sudden, dash and radio won't power down when shutting truck off, driver-side bank of window and lock switches won't work when truck is on. Odometer blinking and check engine light on, but no codes showing on the reader. Had to...
Damn - 25mpg is impressive... I have a '25 Laramie 4x4 and my best on a recent FL - NC round trip that I just got back from was only 19.6 (and I only use 92-93 octane) and that's with essentially no real load weight and a full rolling tonneau cover in place covering the bed.
When I bought my Bilstein 5100 components, the fronts came unassembled so don't anticipate they come fully assembled upon purchase
the rear shocks were just straight swaps for the old ones.
Bilstein 5100 series is a GREAT upgrade - I put those on my former '21 Bighorn and very noticeable improvement over OEM with regard to road manners and steering responsiveness. I'll be doing those again on my '25 Laramie when the time comes
I put the 5100 series Bilsteins on my prior 2021 Bighorn Quad at about 35k miles - by that point the OEM parts they replaced were at best competent enough for clean roads but in all other respects lethargic. The 5100s firmed up the ride nicely and improved the truck's overall steering...
I put Hellwig front and rear bars on my '25 Laramie and for front end links, Suspension Maxx urethane assemblies, all within first couple months of ownership.
The OEM parts are laughably low-grade quality in comparison to the bolt-on bars and links I replaced them with - both ride and handling...
I looked at those online before deciding on Infinity speakers - Didn't really get a good feel since there was relatively little info out there on them and relatively few outlets seeming to sell them (and then only online - have never actually seen/heard them in person). A lot of Ram owners seem...
that's the range within which I've stayed since returning from NC to FL - it's been holding steady at about 18.2 in mixed driving but I expect that will decrease as my local driving routines return more to normal. I also have a roll n' lock type tonneau cover installed so I'd presume that may...
Sounds like I'm probably at or close to peak expectations and I'm ultimately happy with whatever it gets, given nothing else to complain about in terms of overall operation. Probably another year before I make a next run like that so will probably average 16+ from now until then.
I'm generally pretty easy on it especially since I'm usually chauffering my dogs... My 21 Hemi Longhorn 4x4 Quad that I traded for it did measurably better - I recall hitting 21 mpg on at least one or more roadtrip occasions and routinely 18-range overall but that was also with just under 40k...
Yeah, it's never boring along there... on this occasion, heavy rainstorms both directions midway to/from the GA line and at least on the return trip for whatever reason, more than a few speed trap and/or traffic stop sightings all the way down to the GA line. SCHP apparently using Mustangs now...
So I just completed a FL to NC and back roadtrip in my '25 Laramie - mileage at time of trip was just over 3k, now approx 4700 upon return to FL.
Albeit given my average highway speed between interim stops was 75-80mph going both ways (not including inner-city travel while in NC), the best...
Florida roads are pretty decent in general but any rough conditions I have encountered since the front install have been uneventful on the suspension. The solid bars seem to offer much greater handling stability than the hollow OEM parts and at least in the case of the front bar, the beefier...
