I called a local after market Bed Cover/Tonneau dealer. When I asked about the new Ram's w/ MFTG's he told me that they just remove the factory brackets and install whatever top the client wants.
He said that he does not see what the brackets accomplish..
I did use the Curt 4 Pin adapter: CURT 55384
I also used the Plastic Spacers: 100pc Plastic Spacer Kit
I drilled a tiny pilot hole for each of the three clips. Yes, I only used three.
I also cut the red adhesive backing tape where the clips were, just to give it a little extra to keep it in...
I installed the Opt7 Redline Triple 60" on my 2021 Limited w/ MFTG w/ no issues.. I ordered the box of assorted round plastic spacers off Amazon and a box of assorted stainless self tappers.
The tailgate clears just fine..
If the Right On Bracket t is 3/8", and the cut out in the Bed Liner is 1/8", then Undercover mounting brackets would only be off by 1/4" on each side.
The Right On bracket bolts would nee to be countersunk and swapped for flush pan heads too.
I'm wondering if the brackets that grab the pics...
