How far did you go to pick up your 5th Gen Ram ?

Had to walk about half a mile to main road near my home. 18 Wheeler that was delivering the truck didn't want to try making some of the tight turns to get to my actual house. This was not a problem, loved the experience.

It was originally going to be about 1800 miles round trip to Lake Charles, LA from the NC Foothills. But, it arrived when my wife wanted me to take her to the SC coast. So, we ended up making a big loop that was about 2100 miles. We were trading in or I might have let them ship it, but I honestly wanted to meet Aaron, who'd been great to work with during the purchase process.

Rochester NY. 11 miles each way. My24 $79.6k sticker, paid $63.4k plus tax, reg, etc.

2019 Laramie - Koons delivered to my front curb.
2024 Limited - 1,150 round trip to Pittsburgh. BUT it was exactly what I wanted and they got an additional EOM discount of $10K. Told him I could drive to Pitt for that.

What's this about? I would like to learn about Mark Dodge if RAM doesn't screw me over on my current truck and the Ramcharger doesn't have issues.

Is it this? Benefits of Factory Ordering | Mark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram
Yep that’s it. Likely the best deal you will find anywhere in the country. If you do a search there are plenty of threads on Mark Dodge and members here vouching for their outstanding customer service and great buying experience.

Purchased from Mark Dodge in Louisiana and I had to walk all the way out to my driveway in Texas to accept it. Saved a ton of money and they delivered it on a trailer right to my driveway. Purchase experience was second to none and super simple. The truck even had a very slight paint run in the rear bumper. They told me to take it to a paint shop of my choice, get it fixed, and they would pay the bill. I did and they paid. I can’t say enough about those guys. Top notch!

Almost identical situation. I walked out to my driveway to take possession of my Rebel that they delivered. The dealer fees in FL are getting so bad that the shipping costs from Mark Dodge were cheaper than a local purchase. Add in the pricing that Mark Dodge gave that no local dealer would even touch, and also the simplicity of the transaction, it was a no brainer to buy from them..

I had a small dent on my driver door. The key fob was dropped and broken. Mark Dodge informed me of that when it was in shipment to my house. I think the key fob hit the door then the ground and broke. They took care of ALL of it. I see no sense shopping anywhere else for my next vehicle.

I went 1,280 miles each way to Mark Dodge in Louisiana from Pittsburgh, PA. Well worth it. The road trip ended up being kinda crazy with the ice storm that moved through Tennessee and upper Alabama on our way home. Ugh.

~750mi each way. St Louis area to Mark Dodge in Lake Charles LA.
Rented a car 1 way, cheap hotel, Mark Dodge picked me up at the rental car return & had the oil & filter for its first oil change waiting for my return home.
~5k cheaper than multiple dealers in my area for the same order.

Same. I went to three local dealers and they all but laughed at me. They all told me that the deal was impossible.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what kind of dealership incentives RAM gives? (for volume of sales, maybe other metrics?)

That's exactly what I was told by three Pittsburgh, PA area dealerships. They said there's no way MD will complete the sale at that price. Well, MD got my order!

Has anyone gone back to their local dealership after buying from Mark Dodge to show them the sales sheet that lists out the price, taxes, etc to "rub it in their face"? 😂

Although, if they truly can't do it because of dealership volume discounts/incentives, then that might be too mean 🫤

Not worth my time and would seem kind of petty. If they can’t do the volume, then they can’t pull of the kind of deals Mark Dodge does. I wanted to build and order my truck anyway so I got exactly what I wanted.
