Only seen lifted off road versions, never street. Would love to have the body kit off this thing.

Searched the authorized dealerships and there are 4 total across the US

So for $131k minus the 8k in savings you get a Laramie with a lowering kit, different wheels/tires, some stick on badges, oh and a fancy seat covers seems like a hell of a deal if you ask me.

Guess I’m the type of person that would pay $80k for a Black Widow Bighorn w/ halogens still for a lift kit, badges and different wheels and tires and think I somehow got a deal without ordering and installing myself

What's worse is people actually think that is a deal.. gonna be a ***** when it comes time to trade it in and they only give ya less than KBB for a Laramie.

I see quite a few of those Apex and Black Widows trucks around here and can’t someone will pay what the dealer list then from. I was curious one day while I was waiting on my oil change local dealer had a few listed on the lot for like $80k+ I thought maybe it was something special nope Apex edition still had cloth seats, no sunroof, basically some badges, lift, wheels, tires and I think the grill might of been different. No sports hood and still had halogens. No mft or pano I laughed and said no way would someone ever pay lets say $30-40k over a what a Big Horn can be had for add another $6k and boom there’s your lift and wheel and tire package. Sure enough started seeing them around town. The worst of all the Black Widow has the ugliest rim you could ever put on anything.

When Covid was in full swing and dealers couldn't get trucks from the factory, it made sense. Two years ago, I asked my local dealer why they had all these Black Widows and Rocky Ridges on the lot instead of stock trucks. They said it was because those outfitters were somehow able to get trucks, and the dealership had to fill the lot with what they could get - even if it was at a premium (which people were paying at the time). Funny thing is, I was at the same dealership last weekend for service, and some of those trucks are still on the lot. For stupid prices.
There are a couple of packages that make sense. Like the AEV Prospector - that's a sweet setup. But your average Bighorn with a couple of minor upgrades is definitely not worth what they're asking.

That does make sense because the local dealer did have quite a few of the Rocky Ridge/ Black widow editions ok their lot during the pandemic while the rest of their lot looked scarce fortunately my future truck was sitting there waiting on me to make a dumb smart decision.

$70k is more reasonable then Ive seen but still $70k for a BH is crazy. Rather start with a somewhat loaded BH and do everything myself and still come out way ahead

Dang it! I contacted Black Widow and they will not sell any of the parts they put on their trucks. They say you would have to buy one of their trucks to get any of the parts. I’d be all over that front bumper if I could get it. Maybe even the body trim parts that go below the doors. Kind of like a ground effects kit. That sucks!

Can't find any specs on the SR650 package. Not even on Black Widows website. I'm hoping for that price, and the SR650 name it has some performance parts on it to get it to 650hp.

Give it time and possibly someone will make knockoffs

They said they make them, but I’m doubting that. I‘m hoping to figure out who they source them from. I’m guessing they have someone else make them specifically for them. Hopefully they didn‘t file for a patent and someone will copy it soon. Nobody else is making a front fascia option for these trucks. Ram patented a hood that resembles the old SRT-10 hood for the 5th gens, but never produced it. I’d like to kind of reproduce the look of my 2006 Ram 2500 MegaCab CTD that I lost in an accident a few years ago. I added the SRT-10 hood and SRT-10 front fascia, and I loved the look.

I‘d love to have this hood

and this front bumper.

The Instagram post announcing the SR650 shows a Whipple charger on the engine, so I'm going to double down on the SR650 means 650 HP. That's probably crank HP, so 550ish to the wheels.

Thats a plus still doesn’t justify the $100k+ asking price lol. I wonder what MSRP actually is without the bs dealer markup.
