Bumper Plugs for color matched bumpers can be found here https://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=181_212&product_id=262
Problem is they dont have all the colors. Check to see if your's is available. If not, I would encourage EVERYONE looking for plugs to contact this merchant and request that your color be added. If they get enough feedback maybe they'll produce our colors. Contact them here https://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php?route=information/contact
$35 for plugs?!?!
You can buy a bag at any hardware store for $5. Black plastic that matches all other plastic on the truck.

Actually, it would be $70, since there are 4 holes, and plugs are sold as sets.

I just picked up my new truck and it came with 4 -3/8” holes in the front bumper from the factory to mount the front license plate.

The problem, I live in a state that doesn’t Require front plates.

I am upset and will be Calling Ram because none of their advertisements show these holes.

I didn’t pay extra to have painted bumpers so they could drill holes in them.

Other than that I really like the truck.
I noticed the same thing. I believe they have body colored plugs for those holes. At least that's what my salesman said he was going to do for me. If they are body covered and not stick out, too much I will be fine with it. I will share an let you know.

Ohio truck, had front license plate bracket on when I picked up the truck, but I hate the look of front license plates on a beautiful vehicle. OH has dropped front license plate to only a secondary offense so I roll without it. 2 screws and a little downward tug and the bracket is off. I was worried about leaving the holes open if the dealer drilled them, but if they are factory stamped I feel a lot better about just leaving them open.

You can buy chromed plugs at any ACE hardware carrying Hillman fastener assortments. $6.40+tax, if applicable. They also have plastic and you can always buy Mopar touch-up paint to match. I got a bottle of touch-up with my truck even.

I believe the OP has a painted bumper and will have to paint any plug he finds. Does anyone know of cheap durable color match paint? Anything up front will need to be strong.

Unbelievable. Do you call 911 if your McDonalds order isn't right?

I ordered my Durango brand new last year, and I specifically told my dealer to NOT drill the front plate holes since we don't use them in Florida.

When they called me to come get it... guess what I saw? Yep. Four nasty holes in the front bumper. They weren't even nice enough to file off the squiggly burrs.

I was fuming mad inside. My salesman, though, was a young kid learning the trade and, I feel, made an honest go at true customer service throughout the process.

He was obviously beaming and proud to introduce me to the vehicle... and no way in hell was I going to diminish that. I mentioned the holes, once. He said sorry, and that was that.

A few days later I ordered the color-matched bumper plugs mentioned above. I filed the holes and installed them and it looks as good as if they weren't there. It's perfect imo.

As a matter of fact, I now think my Durango is better off with the holes. The next owner may need front plates, and I take solace knowing this is a small detail they won't fret over.

The 3/8" Hillman's are to small and don't fit tight while the 1/2" are too large.

My solution was to insert the 3/8" plugs in the hole then, from behind the bumper, I spread the clips out to make them hold tight. They cover the holes completely and fit tight.

Cost: 1.08 x 4 at Lowe's.
