Unfortunately I haven't been able to post on this thread recently. My brother went into rehab, so I decided to also quit drinking while he’s in rehab. His total stay will be 3 weeks, and hopefully he’ll be better and we all know he’s got a long hard road ahead of him. Please everyone out there drink responsively and back away when you need to.

Commend you for being there for your brother and supporting him. Thankfully alcoholism doesn't run in my family. I stopped drinking for a month to see if I would lose any weight. Didn't make a difference. I mostly drink a few each night because I want something other than water.

Not drinking anything tonight as I'm trying the intermittent fasting thing, but did pick up some beer today.

One of my favorite pumpkin beers is out.

And Leinenkugal Brewing has finally made more Sunset Wheat. Unfortunately it's o my a seasonal brew now. This was the first beer that I liked enough I would regularly buy and keep in fridge.

They haven't made it in years. There has been enough demand on their Facebook and emails, they brought it back as a small batch seasonal beer. If there is enough demand, it's possible they could bring it back full time again

Some limited release of the beer that got me into wheat beers. Before there was Sunset Wheat, I rarely drank beer.

Went out one night and a guy ordered a black cherry, waitress asked what it was and he said 1/3 Sam adams cherry wheat and 2/3 Guinness. Since I like both I tried it and now I’m hooked.

I was at a brew pub in PA a while ago. They had something they called Black Velvet. It was 50/50 mix of their raspberry beer with their stout. Delicious.
