How full do you fill with gas?

Does everyone just fill their tanks all the way?

And how low do you let your tank get before you fill up again?

I prefer to fill mine until the pump clicks. Then another 5 tries and 5 clicks. I don't stop until I can physically see gasoline running down the side of my truck.

On the empty side, I go until the engine dies. Then let it rest for a few minutes, and try again to see if there are a few more miles I can squeeze out of it before it dies again.

Mine is between 8/9ths and 1/5th full at any given time

Two jokers in every deck, right? But seriously I try to keep close to full but don't worry about it. Less air space equals less fuel evaporate and less moisture condensate. Usually fill to shutoff then maybe click to next even amount, but don't overdo because excess can get back into vent, canister, etc.

I fill until it stops, Then to the next $.50 higher.

Once I get my AUX Fuel Tank installed, That will give me 105 Gal on Board with the Stock 33 Gal Tank.
With the EcoDisel and the GDE Trans Tune that should get me Coast to Coast with only Pee Breaks.
Unless I install a Pilot Relief Tube! I also have a Comma3 in the truck to take over the mundane driving tasks.

I work from home and my RAM is not my primary "errand" vehicle, so even with just a 26 gallon tank, it probably takes me 2 months before I need to add fuel. I wait until it gets down to 1/4 before I do, I rarely let the light turn on to remind me.

I do the 2-click method. The first initial click, wait a few seconds, then pump again until the 2nd click goes off.

Fill until click. rough count to around 30 seconds, and then until click. I try to fill at 1/2 tank with the way gas prices are. That said, I work from home, so it can be a month between fill-ups.

I hate to admit, but you've almost described me. As my Frontier sat 30min ago:

But then again, I come with my own mobile gas station:

I'm a deal hunter, so I will try to buy 40-gal at a time and then stay afloat for about 2-3 weeks. I'll stack as many deals as possible and max out my rebate limits. I'm also a bit shielded from the price fluctuations.

If gas is low or coming down, I try to keep both tanks topped off.
If I see gas suddenly spike, I'll get one last top-off at Sam's (they open at 6am OMW to work, they don't update the prices until 8am).
When gas is going up or at its peak, I have up to 3 weeks for it to correct itself.

I don't think I've yet paid over $4.09/gal, when gas has spiked to about $5 a few times and is currently around $4.50.
I have about another week and a half to see what happens. It's still like playing the stock market.

when gas prices are on the rise I gas up when it gets below 3/4. when gas is on the down i go to a 1/4
You should do the opposite.

Keep 'cheap' gas/fuel in your tank. Top off as it comes down and keep filling up when prices are low.
When it spikes, hold your breath and wait it out. That's the beauty of the 33-gal.

2 33 gallon tanks?
I'm actually considering this. I'm picking up my 33-gal EcoDiesel, next weekend. I'm probably going to swap out my 18-gal marine tank from the Frontier and put it in the Ram. I just need to clean out any residue left from the gasoline, since I'm switching to Diesel.

I might later consider getting a bigger marine tank, now that I have a bigger bed.

Fill till it clicks. Then shake it twice(three times are you are just playing with it). I usually don't fill up until the low fuel light comes on. I don't worry too much about price fluctuations. Unless it's jumping by dollars per gallon, it's usually less than $10 difference per tank at the most. I also use the gas buddy app, and gas buddy fuel card. Can usually save as much as the price increase. My last fuel up on my wife's Traverse, with fuel points from Kroger, I saved 47 cents per gallon, for a total of $7.70 cents savings. That was 40 cents in fuel points and 7 cents for using my gas buddy fuel card.

I don't know if I want to go more than 20-hours in a single drive, but a man after my own heart.
I drive at night when the kids and wife sleep. I have the bladder of steel, but I'm not above peeing on the side of the interstate.
