Simply not true, there are plenty of early orders just starting to get built in the last 2 months (all models) if anything recent orders are being built sooner than anything. The models with more options from body venter like bed liners are taking more time because of those options.... mine was built feb 6th and finally got a departure date for the train 4/11 to 4/25. Order date was 7/31. The whole sh!t show is a complete mess, no build order can really be determined from the information obtained from all the data collected by eighty and triple b
it is very true, im annoyed when I see ANY vin number later than mine get a BS. Yea its a mess but just being honest.

Ordered my 2022 Nov 1, 2021….it’s a limited. No vehicle yet, so I would disagree with the “limited getting built first” scenario.
What options are in your Limited? I just ordered mine March 8th and it rolled off the line Sunday.

I ordered my Limited 3-11-22 and it was already in KZ status awaiting schedule to be shipped on 3-25-22! Will the tracker show where it currently is and ETA? Last 8 of Vin is NN328181.
No, once it is shipped and in KZ status your dealer is the best source of information at that point and even their info is dependent on how timely the many transportation companies used relay data back to Stellantis.

21 limited with vins great than 310, 12 big horns, 5 Laramies, couple longhorns couple rebels. Seems pretty true to me, I was only making an observation I only went back as far as 310

It would be intriguing to sort out what options tend to trigger a sticking point. Bedliner? GT packgage? Who knows, I've been in JB status forever and ordered on 2/18 and I see this guys with orders of 3/11 already shipping. Makes me wonder if there is method to the madness or truly just chaos.

In all likelihood, the Longhorn option is probably what delayed your build - most likely the interior trim. My Limited had about the same sticker price and was built within weeks.

It has been discussed MANY times and there is no way to determine that from the outside looking in. There is just not enough information about each order that is made public to try to decipher that.

From my observation ( not hard data but reading through tracking/ordering/best price threads over past year+) there is a Limited centric participation. I may be wrong but the number of tracked orders have a higher % of Limited therefore you would have a skew to Limiteds built wouldn't you?

to add to what triple_b posted
we have a poster, can not remember their handle, that has a friend on the assembly line who took pictures of their truck. even they do not know why trucks are being build the way they are being built.
it is a management decision, and they are not talking.

Don't forget to add Rebels and TRXs to that mix as they're made at the same plant. I ordered a Rebel in Oct '21, and it still hasn't come and just hit JP body vendor. I reordered through a different dealership, and I've already got a build and ESD date that will likely beat the first order. There really isn't any method TY the madness that we can articulate without being in the corporate meetings that determine that kind of stuff.

Is there a comparable Ramchat for Canada?

I feel like I’m bugging my sales guy when I ask him for updates and I don’t wanna be that person lol

I definitely felt like I bugged my sales lady (Sonya), but she’s pretty awesome and has now been giving me updates without having to email. I think that says a lot about the dealership! (LauraCDJR out of Sullivan, MO). She just let me know it’s waiting a train ride now to Wentzville! I ordered my Big Horn on 3/15. Hopefully the train doesn’t take a terribly long time! (Any ideas??)

While I’ve been waiting, which I know isn’t a very long time, I’ve had to try really hard not to just fly down to Mark Dodge and buy one on their lot lol.

I didn’t mention them just cause their numbers are much smaller than the 3 main ones. Tons TRXs just seem pretty backed up on those though.

Mine's a Rebel as well - ordered Mid Feb of 22, in JP for a couple weeks now. Wouldn't suprise me if the higher volume dealerships have their orders prioritized as well.

I ordered my limited longorn on 3/12, and it is in KZ status awaiting shipment with no ETA, yet. So the limited didn’t delay anything on my end.

I agree, the wait has been long and I've caught myself looking at Mark Dodge inventory lately.....I'm half tempted to go buy one from them too. For Laura CDJR, they were one of the dealerships I shopped around with, but ended up ordering from Schicker in Washington Mo because they had the best price. Also, I was never impressed with Laura CDJR's service department for my previous RAM.

I’ve been looking at inventory too. My sales guy told me it should be leaving paint today but the wait is painful (ordered in Jan)
