So I received an email from Ram Customer Care saying the estimated delivery date to the dealership is between 2/24 - 3/8, what are people's experiences with these dates? Dealer stated delivery in Early to mid March. I need to sell my current truck before the new one comes in and want to make sure I have enough time. Thanks
This date range has changed for me about 4 times. I’m going on a month with a WS and no truck and no updates to my dealer. My dealer is saying to expect it in March.

Mine just got pushed back again today as well. Had an estimated date range from 2/11-2/21 and now it got pushed back to 2/24-3/8. It shipped out about 2 weeks ago now and my dealer told me today it's about 4hrs away and they don't know when it'll be here... My dealer told me a week ago that it would be here the last week of Feb or first week of March and now they don't know when it'll be here. If it's only 4hrs away I can't see it taking 2 more weeks to get here makes no sense at all.

Hello everyone, with how much everything is changing week to week I was wondering: do I have to contact dealer to get the initial VIN or will ram Still email me when they get the order info etc? I ordered a 2017 and the dealer asked for email and name Etc and about 2 Weeks after ordering from the dealer ram Emailed me with a VIN and Said congrats on ordering etc etc. just making sure that is how it works still or how it works now? Ordered my 2022 Ram 1500 patriot blue Limited night edition a couple days ago.
did not work that way for me
had to go by dealer to get vin and updates

make sure to register your vin here, it helps a lot for when it gets built and a window sticker shows up.

New guy to me. Im not sure he's been there long. Maybe a year? LAst vehicle I ordered was my 2020 Challenger SP in December 2019. Came in June 2020 I think. I have to look. I only kept the car a few months. I dont think he was their when I picked up the Scat Pack. Again, He's a younger guy. I was watching Miami Vice in my 20's before he was born. I dont know him at all. And what I got from him in the 20 seconds we talked, he didn't care much either. That is my first impression. Could I be wrong....sure.

Lets put this in perspective. My original sales guy, whos now a friend, didnt know me at first and still picked me up from IUD airport when I bought my first 16' SRT from him. That's the difference. I NEVER got the answer "Im too busy" from Z. He always picked up the phone and shot the sh!t with me. I had a question, there was no email only bullsh!t. He'd answer the question in less than 20 seconds. THAT'S why I kept buying/leasing from him. Period.

This is a pic in Jan 2021 when I sold it to a local dealer... View attachment 120806
First, That car is gorgeous!! Second the only feeling I have gotten from Craig is he's just business. Not that there is anything wrong with that but when you can't speak to someone face to face, and I've never purchased a vehicle out of state like this, I'm not looking for a best friend but it would be nice to be a little friendlier. As far as the finance department goes I have zero confidence that things will go smooth. They said straight out Chryslers interest rates are very high but take the rebate and then refinance with my own bank in 3 months. I explained I don't want to play games and he said everyone does it. Not what I want to hear. He had me fill out the finance application but said he can't give me rates until the day of the sale. It's gonna be interesting on Monday!

If the market there is like it is in Canada.....and the truck is a desirable model and in good condition you shouldn't have much trouble. Posted my 2019 3500 on FB marketplace (my wife is on Facebook....I won't touch it otherwise...only good thing about it IMO) ....within 2 hours I had a $500 deposit in my account from a guy 200miles away. Bought it sight unseen for my asking price.....which I padded to account for negotiation so after 2 years of owning I made on it 🤑. Said he was looking for a long time for a black Ram 3500 Limited Mega and didn't wanna lose out.

Okay thanks for the info. I got the VON number but it will be a week or 2 before I get the vin I would imagine. When I do I will post on that link thanks

Many get their VIN within a few days to a week.
Oh okay. The dealer said I might get a email from Ram but would also email me
When they check and see it also. So hopefully the sooner the better. 👍🏼 Does anyone know what the current limitations or problem options are that they don’t have? I heard it was ram boxes most recently.

Browning in Norco

I see that place has changed their name, but hasn't changed their tactics. I talked to them in 2003, they claimed to be the biggest and best deals in SoCal, wanted to drive a 2500 and they said "our key box is broken". I left, bought a truck elsewhere, made a point to drive back down there, ask for the manager, told him they lost a big sale to their "defective" equipment, mentioned the salesman name and left.

Maaaannnn, this is happening much faster than I thought!! Thankfully, I'm pretty sure I just sold my 06, waiting on the funds for that.

I’m confused. I have nothing but great things to say so far about Browning in Norco. Are you talking about Browning or HB Dodge?

I got an email about a week later with my VIN from Ram.
As for limitations, if it was available when you ordered, it shouldn't be a thing to hold up the order. When I ordered, Ram Boxes weren't an option on the Big Horn, nor were LED lights, though I have seen they were in the past.

Talked to their internet sales when I was trying to place an order, my overall impression was not good. They would not budge talking about options and pricings and urged me to come to store over and over again. I was just expecting some straight forward answers to my simple questions but no, "come to our stores so we can talk about it".
Well I am talking about it, it's you not listening to me and wants to pull the old fashioned trick.
They also charge "market adjustment fee" of $5000 over MSRP. That was last December.
I ordered from MD a day after.

Mine has been in a railcar yard for almost 3 weeks, I can ride I bike from my house to this railcar..Sad!
I would ride my bike there and sit on it every day for an hour, (I'd sit on the truck, not the bike haha) and if they ask you to leave say "sure, bring this to my dealer and you'll never see me again." 🤪

Ditto! LOL....getting off FB 6 years ago was the best thing I've done in years
I think i dumped out of that $h!tshow in 2012... for the first 3 days i noticed i had nothing to do while waiting in line for a coffee... but i realized i was much less angry when i got thru said line and got said coffee hahaha. That was it, never looked back. I'm only on forums of the truck i have, and atv i have now (and 2 guitar ones) but there's soooooooo much less BS on these type of sites because in the good ones, we're all here for a reason and are pretty helpful toward each other... with a little dude-ribbing here and there. Even the gals on these forums are cooler than in the general mobs of talking heads on social media.

And for the record, (and since they've existed WAY longer) i consider forums to be "knowledge resources" not social media. 💪

Honestly, it's best to chat with a dealer, as it's often changing day to day.
