Uconnect App Problem

Info/VHR on Uconnect App?

  • 8.4 Inch Yes

  • 8.4 Inch No

  • 12 inch Yes

Have a Galaxy S9+ and we are coming on some pretty chilly weather here in Iowa and I want to use the Uconnect app to start my truck. Where I work I cannot reach my truck with my Key Fob to start it hence why I want to use the App. Problem is the App opens and I need to type in my password which I do but I cannot click/touch on the sign in button. I have restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck. Is this system just unreliable? It was a perk of mine getting a truck where I can do this and I feel like im being let down here. Anyone else experience such problems?

There are two apps you can download. One is simply called UCONNECT, and one is UCONNECT Sirius Guardian. (version 1.2)

The outright UCONNECT version works fine, and it includes an INFO tab that shows air pressure, gas level, and a few other things. (Version 3.2.1)

I would download the UCONNECT 3.2.1 first, then if you have issues, download the SXM version

(Android versions here)

I have the regular Uconnect App that shows vehicle report such as gas level, tire pressure etc. After posting I tried it again and it worked. Not sure what the problem was but its good for now but this is not the first issue Ive had with the App. I will see if it continues to work fine or not.

Just a FYI...I dont think ALL the 2019's get the info screen (I'm guessing it has something to do with whether or not you have the 8 or 12 inch. I have the 12 inch in the Limited and have the info screens. Android Version 3.2.1

But since you said you were using 3.2.1, that is indeed the regular UCONNECT version.

Question. Have you received your FIRST Vehicle Report yet???????

I am assuming you created a MOPAR account and added your truck to the account???????

Yes I have. It's on my profile and it's about 3000 miles behind lol

It states last updated in September

I have the 8.4 inch and can see all the information on the app. It works better in my Apple then my Android.

Strange. It should update at least once a month, sometimes mine updates every week.

someday when you're driving, push your ASSIST button until the four quadrant screen comes up...don't push any or it will call the corresponding quadrant. Let your screen on that until you turn off the vehicle. later on, login to your mopar account and see if it updated.

Sometimes, this forces a VHR. (mine appeared to update as I left work on 11/6.

The info and VHR is not working on 12 “ vehicles only 8.4 also the same with info tab. Very infuriating for me

that sucks. I guess the at&t wifi doesn't work on the 12" either?
WiFi does work. I use it all the time. Something with the 12” they didn’t get working yet. Supposedly in 2019 it will be updated to work but I’m not holding my breath. Really pisses me off because you would think they would make certain the premium trims would have the tech. FCA has no excuse for this type of idiocy.

Come on everyone marvel at the class leading screen size and how it’s less capable than the smaller 8.4

At first, there were some issues in the 19 with the 8.4 as well.

AT&T was holding up part of that as far as the connectivity part, since that is the carrier that's used to transmit information. WiFi was delayed about a month.

WiFi does work. I use it all the time. Something with the 12” they didn’t get working yet. Supposedly in 2019 it will be updated to work but I’m not holding my breath. I have a 12in screen and do NOT have not the info tab. My Jeep Wrangler with the 8.4. I have the info button using the same app and account info.

When you first setup Uconnect in the truck (or previous vehicle), they would have asked you to setup a 4 digit pin to use when to verify it was you. That should be the code.

If you don't remember it, push the assist button in the truck and ask them how to reset it

@IA_Dawg you selected you have the 12.1 and the info tab is working. Can you post a screen shot of the Uconnect app with it working and the build date of your truck if it is there .

Sorry, I misunderstood the question. I thought it was asking about the website.
