Probably, but the tracker is tracking ALL orders, not just forum member orders.
Right, maybe I'm not thinking about this correctly but I just mean if you're not looking at/haven't seen the tracker, and are kind of by default focused on the people posting here that are getting their trucks built, and the fact that a lot of those people have Limiteds/decked out Rebels, etc.

Seems like a little of both.

I've looked at a ton of dealer window stickers and the Bighorns, Laramie and Rebels they have coming in don't have a ton of tech. Like none have BSM and I only saw one Rebel with the Tech Group. So, they are making those for dealers but they seem to be lower optioned (for tech anyway). Then the sold orders being built seem to be the higher end limited trims etc with more tech. Almost like they are giving sold orders, in higher trims, the chips.

If true, it doesn't look good for someone like me....a Bighorn with Tech Group, BSM, etc.

But, who knows.
I've noticed this as well with the few I've looked at. Dealers can't sell what they don't have on the lot. Most people are impatient and do not want to wait. They'll give up all kinds of stuff to get something today. It's easier to get trucks out the door if they are relatively "stripped". There's always a market for people that value 4WD and a Tow Package without tech stuff if they can get it now instead of some unknown time in the future.

There are A LOT of Limited orders to get through (needing chips) before they worry about Bighorn orders that need tech chips. In the meantime, they will send dealers plenty of stripped Big Horns and Laramies. I may be better off ordering a Rebel with the things I want and see which comes in first.

The data doesn't support this. What are the most high-end models? Limiteds and TRX's. Lowest end - Big Horns (if you ignore Tradesmen). Now look at the data. They've built a lot more Big Horns and Laramies - both by the numbers and by the percentages.

Oh, 13.51+16.76+17.43+20.23+23.84=91.77% above Big horn/lone star being built?

This that new math...
Read the rows not columns
Its the percentage of ordered and built for each trim.

I’m new to this stuff so if their is no build sheet and it’s estimated to be shipped out Sunday. How’s that possible? Or am I missing something?

Don't go off any estimated shipping date your dealer or POC says. You need a build sheet to let you know it is built and a window sticker to let you know your dealership has been invoiced.

Ahhh okay so even though it says estimated that not valid. Very good to know so they lied to me twice. When I signed the deal for the sport in July they guaranteed arrival in September and now with this Laramie they said 100% sure this month (October). ☹️☹️

Any dealer "guaranteeing" dates right now is off their rocker.

I think the estimated ship date corresponds more closely to when the truck will begin production. I had an estimated ship date of 10/2 and received a build sheet on 10/4--the day build sheets for that weekend were generated. So, in my case, the estimated ship date was the same as when the truck began production.

Sadly a few others are in the same boat, but it can't hurt to hit your dealer up and ask/threaten what they will do to keep your business and not go to a dealer down the road. (Doesn't hurt to try for more incentives) just be sure to get anything promised, in writing.

Correct, but there more of the upper trim levels being built overall than Big Horn/Lonestars

I'm not sure. Ram chat just informed me that my truck was released from the factory and is awaiting shipment. I should see a window sticker tonight and will follow up with my dealer tomorrow for an updated POC and to see what their expectation is for shipment.

Ah, I see what you mean, but the math is wrong there too. You would need to add the ordered and built for those higher trims together then figure percentage. Otherwise adding the column percentage together is over 100%.

I just checked the dealer site I ordered through and they have 20 2022 big horn quad cabs with an msrp in the 40s.

Oh okay. Nice and congrats. Lucky that you can use ram chat. Doesn’t work for us in Canada
