Awesome brother! Did you get the V2's? Luv the ride with the RC lift. How is it now with the heavier tires?
What my truck will look like when it grows up ;-) Still on the skinny 32's. May have to run the stocker wheels with 295/60's as well. They look pretty damn good IMO!

Thank you. I did not get the V2 shocks and so far very pleased with the ride. My opinion is the braking has been impacted the most with the heavier tires. The 35x12.5x20 RTs I believe weigh in at either 71 or 74 lbs each depending on if you get E vs F load rating. I have also noticed the body roll has diminished but still not a track car as far as cornering goes

@HEMITKN, I really like the stock wheels so I wanted to keep them until any future plans would require changing them. I did the same with the stock 20 in Rims on my 2003 1500 and I kept that set up for 18 years.

Okay so I need to vent. Placed my order with custom Offsets 7MAY21 last week I was told Black Rhino sent two wrong wheels. Wheels got here Weds and now Friday evening I get an email saying tires aren't there! WTF over! How can they take my money 7MAY then say everything but the two wheels are there and now the tires are not? I paid for them and should be there as stated earlier. I went with them because they said they had or could get the wheels and tires I wanted.
Now even if I cancel the order what are the odds of going somewhere else and getting what I want plus more waiting!!! Still hot under the collar!

Mike

That is some poor customer service! They should have offered you a refund earlier if they knew that they were missing items.

I just returned home a few days ago from my first ride of any real distance, 600 miles round trip. Great ride, went there on I- 89 with the cruise set at 72 and took some back roads on the way home.

thanks for the reply. I’ve only owned 2wd trucks with performance tires, so a little nervous about flying 700 miles to drive a truck home that I’ve never driven.

Drove 23 hours straight from NY to Georgia than to Huntsville Alabama, comfortable the whole ride. Also some 800 mile round trips with some rest in between. I'm 6' 1" and 230 lbs.+, if that has anything to do with it. Also have the bench seat with appropriate space which keeps my right knee happy.
Best of luck on your ride.
Keep in mind the info below.

THE BEGINNING: 24 HOURS OF NO SLEEP

A normal person stays awake for about 16-18 hours before going to sleep. When you stretch it to 24 hours, the effect on your bodies is comparable to the cognitive impairment caused by blood-alcohol content of 0.10 % – diminished concentration and hand-eye coordination as well as hampered hearing and memory . Your decision-making ability and judgment also get slightly affected and you tend to become more emotional.

If you want more info on sleep go to Nova. Some real good info, the brain actually goes to sleep despite you appearing awake. I've had a career of sleep deprivation and tolerate/conditioned to erratic hours to some degree. I picked up on the Nova show after my 23 hour ride, wouldn't do it again. Go to 38 min mark for micro sleep.

I really hate people and their lack of situational awareness and respect for other people's property. I purposely park in the back away from everyone to avoid idiots. I came out of Home Depot to find a dent in my door from the jack*** in a truck and trailer next to me. Wife left a note and a our son's dirty diaper on his windshield I left a few carts around his trailer so he couldn't get out without being inconvenienced. It's the smallest dent, thankfully the white paint rubbed off but that's not the point!

So, just found out the truck I’m looking at has an idiot mark on the tailgate. How likely is it to have ceramic gray matched at a body shop?

Looking good Oilslick. What size tires are those? I was hoping to be the first Bright white BTS with new tires, mine are getting installed on Tuesday on the stock rims and lineX and tint are scheduled in the next 2 weeks.

Bhamram, paint matching has come a long way and all manufacturers share their paint colors with the paint companies. That being said, blending a repair takes skill and not every body guy can blend a small repair without doing the whole tailgate. I used to be in the auto paint business.

I ordered a set of Toyo AT3s in 275/65R20 for the stock wheels. I don't plan on a level right now to retain some semblance of has mileage but I'm not opposed if I get rubbing.

It’s in a weird spot too, right above the handle. Looks like the owner must have hung something over the edge or someone hit with a baseball. I’m curious if a deeper tailgate protector would cover most of it up.
