I've got a 2021 Laramie on order - does anyone know if the Hellwig 7883 swayer will fit a 2021? I called Hellwig and they say that they only have data through the 2020 model.

Thanks guys - great thread. You've helped me a lot as I'm outfitting the new rig....

Should fit no problem, no changes in the suspension at all from 20 to 21 just cosmetic changes from what I have read.

So that’s with orp springs? It could be the picture but it looks like that maintained factory rake, or is the rake slightly less with the springs?

Left it with a 1/2 inch rake.

Great thread of information here. It's what steered me towards the Mopar lift kit.

Received a 2021 1500 Laramie w/ Level 2, Technology Group, etc two weeks ago. Had the dealer install the Mopar lift prior to delivery. Most influential part of making the decision to get the lift was the factory warranty part, plus they gave employee discount pricing.

I'm coming from a 2015 1500 Laramie that had two inch shock tower spacers on front and a ~1" spacer in the rear. I can say unequivocally the 2021 w/ the Mopar lift rides significantly better than the 2015 with the spacers. I think the package with the upper CA and shocks all engineered to work together in the proper geometry of the suspension is key to the success. I drove a 2017 1500 Laramie with stock suspension for a couple days until getting the 2021 under my butt for good, so it gives me some good points for comparison.

We just returned from a trip consisting of 1,200 miles with maintained speeds of 80 and 85mph. Another 500 miles of mountain highways with long sweeping corners. We spent a few hours on mountain paths and Forest Service Roads with creek crossings, some logging roads, some 15° inclines, many animal gates at 30+ mph, mirrors folded in, 4-low for speed control. Half the mountain driving was with snow pack or grainy snow cover. It was a pretty good spectrum of conditions for a road built "luxury" pickup.

The truck was fantastic for ride quality. Highway handling predictability was very good. The truck understeers when things get slick. Bumps at speed (like RR X-ings, lane patches, animal guards) get absorbed well and the return control of the shocks is noticeably better.

I couldn't be happier with the choice for the Mopar lift. I would repeat it again.

The dealer quoted me 5 hrs at the shop rate of $125. This included the alignment after installation.

Thanks - when you installed the RC upper control arms, Do you know which part number you bought? Was it SKU #31402 from Rough Country? The reason I ask is that they are specific that it is for a 3" or 3.5" lift kit. I assume since the Mopar kit gives 2" and the ORP springs add another 1", we should be OK. However, wanted to check with you since you've had them for a while now. Thanks for the help.

I used SKU# 31201 which are actually for model year 12-18 (4th gen) and they worked perfectly. I got them for $99 through RCs scratch and dent program. The ones I ordered also say they are for a 3" lift. I have had zero issues with them and I tow a boat all summer and do mild off roading. Below is a link of the UCAs I installed.

Nothing special. 😀 Here's driving it home before installing mud flaps, running boards, tow hooks, wheel liners, and tint.

How’s the ride quality with your setup? I like the ida of a 2” lift with only 1/2” rake.
I installed the hellwig sway bar for lifted trucks on it so the steering feels like stock. I feel the bumps a little more than stock but it is still a smoother ride than my 2014 gmc sierra was.

Question.. Has anyone been able to fit 35” tire wheel setup with Mudflaps installed?.. Any clearance issues if so?.. Thanks!

Thanks for all the help to everyone in this thread. It takes a boat load of time to read through all the pages lol. Here is my 2019 ram 1500 with the Mopar 2” lift (AC kit) with the ORP springs in front. New rims will be going on once they come off back order. Tires are nitto ridge grapplers 295/60R20. No rubbing whatsoever. 35D6A38B-9E40-4B96-A24E-879CBE8CEAE1.jpeg
