So today Headlight Revolution posted a video saying and showing that out halogen units can be replaced with the LED version, its as simple as plug and play. I looked at their site and they wanted $1500 for both lights. Out of curiosity I looked up the part number on Mopar and they'll sell each for around $500 dollars, so around $1000 total. Just in case anyone who doesn't have the LED upgrades were looking to replace theirs.

Nice catch to save $500!

Can you post the part numbers to help those that would like to try it?

Thanks for the part numbers. Checking online it seems the MSRP of these parts are $774 each, but discounts can be found (brings the price down to $519.68 each).

For example (but these don't confirm that they are the LED versions of the tail lamps):
https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-lamp-tail-68262532ag

So at MSRP prices, the headlight revolution's price isn't that bad, they are just keeping the profit for themselves until forums like this figure out the details. ;)

Any idea on the PN's for the blacked out taillights? I believe that they're 55112992AD and 55112993AD but can't get confirmation.

Good point, do they have a separate Blacked out LED tail lamp assembly, or are they only available in the halogen type? I have a blacked out truck but don't have the LED lighting option.

From my research on this since I'm considering selling my stock LED's with blind spot/cross path and replacing with the blacked out versions:

P/N for blacked out (Rebel/black appearance package) LED tail lights with blind spot/cross path detection:
Left: 68262533AG
Right: 68262532AG

P/N for blacked out LED tail lights without blind spot/cross path detection:
Left: 55112993AD
Right: 55112992AD

P/N for regular LED tail lights with blind spot/cross path detection:
Left: 68262531AG
Right: 68262530AG

P/N for regular LED tail lights without blind spot/cross path detection:
Left: 55112991AD
Right: 55112990AD

The LED's with blind spot/cross path can be had for around $500 each, and without it looks like they are around $300 each. I think MSRP on the lights with blind spot/cross path is around $775 each, and $457 each for the ones without.

What's the blind spot/cross path? I don't think my truck has it. Big Horn non nav trim.

If you have a Big Horn with the standard halogen lamps, you probably don't have the blind spot/cross path detection. I'm fairly certain if you picked that option you had to also get the premium LED lighting group.

This is how the Ram website describes it: The Blind Spot Monitoring System[1] helps you make safer lane changes by alerting you when a vehicle enters your blind-spot zone. Sensors scan approximately one lane over on each side. When a sensor detects a vehicle in the blind spot zone, an icon lights up on the corresponding exterior mirror. Rear Cross Path Detection[2] helps you back out of parking spaces when vehicles block your view. When moving in reverse, sensors scan for vehicles and/or objects crossing your path and the system alerts you with a lighted icon in the exterior mirror.

Thanks for the info! Positive I don't have it then. Which I guess makes it cheaper to get the LED tail lamps. Are we positive those are leds on Mopar site. When you put the part number in i don't see them saying LED anywhere.

The regular halogen lamps are much cheaper (MSRP $175 each). P/N on those is 55112988AE/55112989AE (those part numbers should match what is on your existing tail lights if you'd like to double check).

Any news on these led tail lights? I also want to change my stock halogen to led!

Thanks for the research knightro84... With your help I scored these bad boys and swapped them out for the regular LEDs earlier this week:

I have a Limited with the regular LED tail lights with blind spot/cross path detection (Left: 68262531AG / Right: 68262530AG). Now I want the blacked out LED :-).
My question is: Could I buy the blacked out LED without blind spot/cross path detection (Left: 55112993AD | Right: 55112992AD) and install the blind spot module from the regular to the blacked out LEDs?

Thanks in advance! :-)

does anyone know if the blind spot module, is removable and transferable between tail lights? anyone have a pic of the plug/connector?

I have the answer for my problem:

It's not possible to remove the blind spot module from a light with blindspot and install it in a light without blindspot.

That means for me that I have to buy the black lights with blind spot.

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if I get the taillights with the blind spot sensor....Am I able to use in a truck without that option? Are the connectors the same and if so will it work without issues? Thanks
