How did you level your front end? Need suggestions.

I'm looking to level my front end, but I don't want to do anything that will change the angles of the suspension. I know the Bilstein 5100 are the best way to go, but since our trucks already have Bilstein front suspension, is there any type of spacer or front end leveling kit they can be used with the factory Bilstein? I just don't see the point in replacing Bilstein with Bilstein if there's a cheaper option that can accomplish the same thing.

Yeah but what's the cost? A pair of Bilstein 5100s is like what, 160ish? Those don't affect angle. I'm looking for something that does NOT affect angles or anything in factory suspension.

I havent found 5100s yet that will fit the 2019 rebel....unless I'm missing something

I used the MotoFab lift. I posted it over here. Just note that I still have not changed the UCA's and have 5460 miles on it. I am not easy on my truck and have had it inspected two times since the alignment to include another one this past Friday. (9/20/2019) - All has been just fine so far.

Rough Country and FabTech just certified the 6" lift for the Rebel and I will be moving to that in a few weeks so I didn't want to waste the money on the UCA's since I wont be needing them

I'd recommend the UCAs. It's fine for now, but changing those angles will create issues. That's what I'm trying to avoid.

Here is another alternative.. Not sure what your budget is, but if your worries for the angle change in 2.5" I think you might have answered your own question?

Yeah I kind of figured that, but sometimes there's stuff out there that you don't know about until you ask. I hate to replace perfectly good Bilsteins with Bilstein 5100s but that really is the right way to do it. Guess that's what I'll have to do.

I had my RAM dealership install the 2 inch Pre-Load spacer from Ready Lift without the UCAs at 11,000 miles so far no issues.

RL doesn’t Reccomend it with the ORG or Rebel, you should use the top hat spacers they sell with the UCAs( which the do recommend for the ORG or Rebel) , and I really do think you should upgrade to their UCAs as well but that is more of a personal preference, though I really think it’s the correct way to do it for the long haul...glad to hear you have nott had issues, though it seems each trucks results vary.

What's the difference between the spacer types, and are the UCAs absolutely necessary with only 2 inches for either type?

Definitely go with a top hat spacer and NOT a in strut spacer. I have the crew cab with the 6.4 bed and it’s rides rough with the in strut spacer. And as a auto-tech you really won’t damage anything. 2in spacer really won’t do anything. 3” would need the arms and stuff. But I mean it doesn’t hurt to be safe. If money was a concern I wouldn’t worry about new arms

After I installed mine I put it on the alignment rack and it did not change my alignment. Although I would always check it just to be safe.

I can get the Readylift 66-1030 top spacers for 120 new. So get those, get the alignment checked, and no need for UCAs, correct?

Yep, this. The Bilsteins you keep referencing do change your factory angles. It’s the same concept as the preload spacer. (The ones that go inside the strut).
