Hey all, so I've been in the market for some all terrain tires to swap the stock bridgestones out with. Something that was mildly aggressive, had a 3 peak snow rating, wasn't 400 a tire and looked good as well. I went down the rabbit hole of researching all of the 3 peak snow rated tires and I kept going back to the Maxxis Razrs. They checked all of the boxes and the reviews were fantastic and the price of them was what kept bringing me back to them. So I decided to buy them.

Ive been able to put a few miles on them in the rain. I am thoroughly impressed with them to say the least. If you're looking for a fantastic tire that's really excellent in the rain, on dry pavement, won't break the bank and I want to say snow, but we don't have any yet (based on reviews, this is where they shine) then look no further than these! They're on the cheaper end of tires and not a name brand if you will but certianly not a ching Chong tire, although maxxis is widely popular in the off road tire segment. I picked up all 4 in 275/65/20 LT from simple tire for 1100 shipped! They had a sale going on and I had a discount code in my email and was able to stack discounts on top of each other. Normally they're about $1500 for a set in 275/65/20. As stated, they did very well in the rain. Very smooth on the road, surprisingly smoother than a lot of other LT tires I've ran in the past including cooper's and nittos. They have a unique design to help with keeping them smooth on the road.

As far as noise, they have a slight hum above 55 which is to be expected for how aggressive the pattern is but don't be discouraged, it's totally bearable. I'd say they hum slightly more than my Nitto Ridge grapplers, maybe 15% more. It's comparable to a bad wheel bearing.

Balancing, They balanced up well for the most part. 2 had a slight hop but they all balanced without a tremendous amount of weight.

Overall, I'd say they definitely live up to their reviews. Can't go wrong with these if you're looking for a cheaper end aggressive all terrain that's smooth and has great grip plus a 50,000 mile warranty which most lower end tires don't have. IMG_20231015_110514_959.jpg
