A few weeks back I had Toyo Open Country AT3 LT285/60/20 10ply installed on new Gear off road 20x9 0 offset.
Drove a week and decided I liked the look, but the 10 ply stiff ride and poor rain performance was not ok with me.
Kept the wheels, but switched the tires to the new Falken Wildpeak AT4...
Had new Falken Wildpeak AT4W in 305/55/20 installed last week. Had slight vibration in the steering wheel and more of one in the seats.
Took it back a few days later, all tires roadforce balanced….3 needed less weight and different places and 1 that was showing a slight “hop” on the outer...
2 weeks ago I put new wheels and Toyo Open Country AT3 LT285/60/20 on. Messed with the pressure for a few days and drove in dry & rain.
Love the look, love the performance in the dry, but the wet is down right dangerous!
Install shop is willing to swap, my question is what do I go with…Brand...
I will need tires by mid-late summer. I have been researching to much but have it narrowed down to two.
Some back history, currently stock wheels with Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 275/60/20 with a 2” RC struts up front and 1” spacer in rear.
I’m looking to go to a 285/60/20 using my 1-1/4” bora...
Looking to get my standard mirror lights to be on all the time or at least when the lights are on. I have a Tazer DT and have my DRL set to the turns….now need the mirrors to match.
Anyone know the best easiest way to make this happen?
I’m looking to make my turns as DRL. And possibly lock out MDS as it sounds like crap with my Borla exhaust.
Is there anyone local, York PA that has the tools and would be willing to do this?
I replaced the stock halogens with LED from underground lightning. The headlights (low beams only) are great. Bright, adjusted to not blind anyone. Great upgrade from stock. The fogs are the same with the exception on the drivers side. Seems to flicker and dim and then work great. Sent it back...
I installed RC 2” leveling struts and though it measures even, it looks front high. If I put anything in the bed I’m sure it will be worse. Since I have RC upfront do they make a spacer for the rear? There site does not show it. Or is there a different place I should looks for a basic 1” rear lift?
