So sorry to hear about these issues you're having. This is the exact scenario I was avoiding in buying a 5th gen without etorque. We've had our share of issues with this truck, but thankfully etorque issues are something we will never have to worry about.
To summarize, if you have the 48V battery module you have etorque. All 5th gen 1500's with the 3.6L v6 are equipped with etorque. Etorque is what makes it a mild hybrid. And they didn't start putting the etorque badges on until the 2021 model year. You absolutely have a truck equipped with...
When is the last time you sat in a GM truck? You're right about the lower trim levels, but the upper trim levels are on the same level as Ram as far as interior materials used.
I wasn't aware you can't get the 33 gallon fuel tank on the Tungsten model. Looks like that applies to anything with the HO engine. Although I'm not sure about the RHO since you can't build one yet. Just one more reason to keep what we have. In fact that would be a deal-breaker for the wife.
It's more a case of practicality. At some point it becomes impractical based on space, weight, and cost to carry more than a certain number of batteries. Diminishing returns may come into play eventually, but it would take a lot of batteries before you'd start to see that happen.

So carry an extra battery then. I used to fish using a small boat powered by an electric trolling motor. My main battery was a 12v deep cycle truck battery. I carried a second battery in case I had issues with the main battery. It was a small car battery but it was capable of getting me back...
Who said anything about the hood? This thread is about chrome trim issues. What I'm saying is the plastic trim bubbling issue isn't corrosion. It shouldn't be bubbling so soon but in the end it's only trim. It's easy enough to just remove or replace it yourself. I've had issues with chrome...
Glad you got yours fixed, but it was a goodwill repair, not an actual warranty repair. It clearly says goodwill right on the invoice you included. Sounds more like your dealership has decided to goodwill dash replacements on 2019 and 2020 models if your service adviser told you that. But Ram...
Where have you read that it should have ACC? Unless there was a change for 2021, Laramie Level 1 did not come with ACC. It's easy enough to check your build sheet and see if it is listed there.
