2021 Ram 5.7 etorque water pump replacement

When I do a parts search on rockauto they show different water pumps for etorque vs non-etorque. So I would conclude that there is a difference. Edit: After looking on a Mopar site it looks like there are definitely differences between them. Not sure what the differences are but they have...

    Fire at fuel cell

I can’t give you any help with this but I’m very interested in hearing what the cause was.

    Ram Box Lights

I doubt it's a fuse. Try removing and reinstalling the lights. Unless something has changed, the connection at the light seems a little suspect to me. I've had to do that a few times on our truck.

    2019 Ram 1500 Laramie

This looks like AI to me.

Looking to go from Ranger to Ram 1500 with winter driving being the reason. Which trim?

Snow mode must be new. Our 2020 Limited doesn’t have that. But 4x4 and anti-spin diff has worked great for the Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho winters. In my opinion tires are more important than any specialty mode a vehicle might have. Make sure the tires you choose have the 3PMSF symbol.

    TPMS 2021 > 2024

Do you have links to those threads? To be clear, I’m going on what I’ve read in other forums…and the fact that the part number is the same. My actual experience is with 2019, 2020 and 2021 models, and haven’t messed with anything newer.

    TPMS 2021 > 2024

My understanding is that they are the same sensors for 2019 thru 2024. The fact that Mopar shows the same part number would lead me to believe that's true. It's been my experience that it can take 50 or 60 miles of driving before the truck recognizes new sensors, so if you try them don't give...

    5W30

You won't have any issues switching to 5w-30. I've been using that for three years in our 2020 Limited. My opinion is that the Hemi was designed to use 5w-30, but Stellantis/Ram switched to 5w-20 and later switched to 0w-20 for slightly better CAFE ratings. Research I've done leans toward...

    DIY Etorque battery pack replacement

Your biggest issue is that it's not just a 48v battery. It's a module with an integrated 48v battery. It's likely that it's the module that fails and not the actual 48v battery inside. The only source for new 48v modules is Mopar. I think you see where this is going. Maybe you can find one...

Regarding air cleaner for my 2022 Ram limited

It's always best to include pics if possible when asking questions like this. You're fine if the filter fits the air box and seals all the way around, and the cover fits correctly. Many filters will work for more than one application. But if you're that concerned about it just go to any auto...

Does anyone like the new 2025+ tow mirrors?

Power fold mirrors are a big deal for us. Having them means we can park in the garage along side the Grand Cherokee lol. It looks like you get power folding tow mirrors on higher trim levels, according to the Ram build website.

How many owners have had issues with their air suspension?

Sure, but it sounds like the issues with your truck are not just about air suspension. I don't expect many members to post about issues with air suspension on 5th gens. I've only seen a hand full of people post about having problems with it. Hopefully others will chime in with their opinions...

How many owners have had issues with their air suspension?

Seems to me you've answered your question about whether you should trade it in or not, given that response.

How many owners have had issues with their air suspension?

Our 2020 Limited hasn't had any air suspension issues. But our mileage is low too, about 20k miles. Here are my thoughts on this though...you have extremely low mileage on your 2019. If you're happy with the truck I wouldn't worry about the air suspension failing. It's easy enough to swap...

Does anyone like the new 2025+ tow mirrors?

Sorry, my bad. I misunderstood what you were asking. You definitely want mirrors you can use. I haven't seen much about them, nor have I read complaints on them. But now you have me wondering too lol. I wasn't even aware they redesigned them.

Does anyone like the new 2025+ tow mirrors?

Honestly I couldn't care less what the mirrors look like as long as they are functional. It sounds like you might be bothered by them. If you buy a truck with those mirrors you will have to look at them every day, and if it bothers you enough you might want to find a truck without them or...

    Laramie vs Limited

If you’re talking about 2026 Laramie versus 2026 Limited this is now a different discussion. In 2023 the Limited was the top trim level. For 2026 it’s been demoted below the Limited Longhorn, and the Tungsten is now the top trim level. Some of the features that were standard on the Limited...

    Tungsten MY25 vs MY26 differences?

It's possibly sun related but some of the people who have had this issue have either garaged their trucks or used windshield sun shades since new. The general consensus seems to be that the adhesive fails or the leather shrinks, but no one here knows for a fact what is causing it. This isn't a...

    Tungsten MY25 vs MY26 differences?

The hemi is not available in the RHO or Tungsten models. The 10 year 100k mile warranty is for the power train only. Probably still too soon for this issue to show up on 2025's. But I suspect it will eventually affect some of them in the future, just like 2019 thru 2024 models.

Ram Pulls The Plug On It’s All-Electric Ram 1500

I've been following the development of both the REV and Ram Charger for a couple years now. But the name of this article was confusing to me. It says Ram cancelled the EV 1500, which they were calling the REV, and then it says they're shifting focus to the extended range Ram 1500 REV. It...
