I don't have a whistle sound. I'd guess it's a vacuum leak. Hard to tell without hearing it though.

My battery is 14.3-14.6, I still have the OG battery in my truck 5 years going strong.

It's under warranty get it fixed and don't worry about it. Things happen in the first few years that's why we have a warranty.
