Thanks to our friends at Real Fast Fotography, we have received new photos of the 2020 Ram Power Wagon out doing some pre-production testing. We previously posted the first Power Wagon spy shots back in July, but the off-road-focused model has been elusive from the camera for the past few months.
While we have seen many variations of the 2020 Ram HD this is only the second Power Wagon that we have seen so far. The first photos we showed you back in July were of a Power Wagon with the standard bed while this truck has the RAMBOX equipped bed. It looks as if Ram will be sticking with the Goodyear Duratrac tires for the Power Wagon which is no surprise as they are so well received by enthusiasts. The 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel also went to Goodyear Duratrac tires, shifting away from the Toyos used in previous versions.
While still heavily camouflaged we can see that the Power Wagon will carry on with a similar “mustache” grille style as the current Power Wagons and gain LED headlights. We expect these trucks to be heavily refreshed versions of the current HDs, gaining technology and styling cues from the 2019 Ram 1500 as well as powertrain updates.
Interiors also look to mimic the 2019 Ram 1500 with a few minor tweaks such as the addition of Auxiliary switches on the bottom of the center stack.
The 2020 Ram HD is set to debut in January at the North American International Autoshow.
