While the 2019 Ram 1500 was revealed back in January, there are 2 trim levels that have yet to be shown. One is the 2019 Ram 1500 HFE or High Fuel Efficiency which we covered back in April. The second is the 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman Sport, which may be called the 2019 Ram Express. We brought you the first pictures of the Crew Cab model back in March and the first photos of the Quad Cab with some information in May. Thanks to our friends at Real Fast Fotography we now have a short running video of the silver Quad Cab.
We still don’t know when the 2019 Ram “Express” will be finally revealed to the public. The outgoing (DS) Model Ram 1500 is still going to be produced into 2019 with the Express trim still available. This leads us to believe it might be a little while yet before the all new (DT) 2019 Ram Express is launched.

I think the 2019 Tradesman Monochrome package was always intended to replace the Express. It’s basically the same equipment – even adds factory fogs to a Tradesman – so the need for a separate Express trim level doesn’t exist any longer. Ram clearly wanted to simplify the trim levels, and replaced them with packages within the trim. SLT, Express, Outdoorsman… all dismissed, and covered by packages in the remaining trims. I think what had been the HFE will also likely become a package of a Tradesman, with the tonneau and such. Since the Pentastar eTorque and stop/start are standard, and the integrated front fascia of the Express/HFE/Sport is no longer used (all 19s have the separated front bumper), a tonneau is really all that could be added anyway.
